Welcome to this guided meditation.

Get as comfortable as you can,

Preferably lying down or any position that is comfortable for you in this moment.

This meditation is meant to guide you back to your body from being shut down,

Numb,

Dissociated or otherwise temporarily cut off from your inner knowing.

Take a deep breath in through your nose and out through your mouth.

Call your energy back from the scattered places it finds itself.

External thoughts.

External conversations.

External worlds.

Call your energy back to you.

Back to your body.

Feel the surface you find yourself on supporting you.

Sense the weight of your body falling into the surface below you.

Rooted into the ground deep deep into the center of the earth.

Sense this gravitational force which allows you to have faith that you are here.

Here on earth,

Exactly where you are meant to be in this moment.

Center in on your breath,

Feeling it rise and fall with ease.

The changing tide,

Breath after breath,

Wave after wave.

Take a deep in-breath to slow the tide and exhale finding a new present rhythm.

Feel free to place one hand on your belly and one hand over your heart,

Saying hello to your skin,

To your inner being.

Find the space between your brows and allow it to expand.

Your mind becomes a landscape.

Thoughts pass through like a tree here,

A rock there,

Perhaps the ocean beyond a field.

Allow your eyes to relax and soften despite however you may be feeling.

Allow the corners of your eyes to fold into a soft smile,

Letting your nervous system know you are here and you are safe in this moment in time.

Notice the air flowing through your nose,

Breathing in and out.

Allow your jaw to relax,

Resting the tip of the tongue on the roof of your mouth.

Notice the soft canal of your throat,

A powerful tunnel for breath to find its way in and out of your body.

A portal to your heart beating faithfully,

Steadily despite all that's happening in the world around you.

Reclaim your center in this universe and know that by centering yourself,

You are nourishing your being and preparing for what is to come.

Moving into your lower back,

Allow the sense of a soft touch from a wise,

Deep,

Inner guide.

This guide knows you are moving in the direction you are meant to move when you allow ease into your life.

Sense your spine like the trunk of a tree,

Rising the branches unfurling into your shoulder blades,

Growing down towards the ground below you and up through the back of your neck and out the top of your head.

Allow a gentle smile to wash over your face.

Sense the energy flowing down your arms and into the balls of the palms of your hands,

Feeling the blood flowing into the tips of your fingers.

You are nourished by the very core of your being.

Sense into your gut feelings,

Breathing into your deep belly,

Finding rest and digest.

It is safe here to allow your body to process what needs to be processed.

Sense your pelvis holding all that rises from it,

The center of your creativity,

Your root,

Held by your hips expanding to allow your body to breathe.

Allow your hips to release any tension and welcome any grief to gently flow.

Sensing your thighs extending down,

Long and reaching,

Down your calves and ankles,

The lengths of your feet,

Into your heels and now your toes.

You are here.

You are existing.

You are worthy of love and resource.

Thank you and thank yourself for resourcing yourself with this nourishing meditation.
