Let's take three minutes to calming breath,

Shall we?

In just these three minutes,

We can do some calming guided breathing to bring down your nervous system and leave you in a state of more ease and more calm.

So let's go ahead and get into it,

Starting with a breath in and exhaling all the oxygen completely out of your body.

Pushing all of the oxygen out of the belly,

Becoming completely empty,

Holding it if you can,

And slowly,

Slowly,

With control,

Breathing in through the nose,

Filling the belly,

The lungs,

The heart,

The chest,

Sipping in a little bit more air at the top.

Hold it,

And with control,

Exhaling out the nose,

Nice and slow.

Empty,

Empty,

Empty,

Pushing all the air out of the body.

Hold it if you can,

And as you feel ready,

With control,

We'll breathe in again through the nose.

Empty,

Filling up the lungs,

Sipping in a little more air,

Feeling that fullness,

And exhaling with control out the nose,

Nice and slow,

Pushing all the oxygen out of the body.

Push all that air out and hold it at the bottom,

And when you absolutely have to,

Slowly,

We will breathe in again.

Belly,

Ribs,

Lungs,

Heart,

Opening,

Expanding,

Sipping in a little more air at the top,

Feeling that fullness,

And exhaling nice and slow one last time,

Controlling the breath,

Pushing all of the oxygen out of the body,

And when we get to the bottom of the breath,

On that exhale,

Hold it for as long as you can,

And when you absolutely have to,

We can take one more big breath in,

And release with a sigh.

Let your breath return to a natural pace,

Noticing the subtle waves your energy has slowed down,

And come back to this three-minute audio anytime you need a moment of
