Welcome to an exercise to connect to your joy.
It is important to connect to your joy,
Especially in times of challenge,
Chaos,
And personal obstacles.
These situations can make you feel ungrounded.
As we know,
Everything is energy,
And energy follows structure.
Structure includes your thoughts and your feelings.
They create a kind of energetic blueprint or energetic foundation on which realities are built upon.
In this time of high energy,
It is beneficial to strengthen your ability to connect to your joy,
Because it not only affects you,
But your joy affects the entire collective as well.
We want all of the joy,
We want all of the magic to help create a foundation for what's coming next,
And that's what we're going to do in this exercise.
Find somewhere comfortable and close your eyes.
Relax into your body.
Take a nice inhale breath in,
And then exhale.
As you exhale,
Try to make your body 10% more comfortable.
And inhale again.
With your exhale,
Imagine exhaling other people's energy.
And then inhale again.
You may want to imagine white gold light coming directly into your heart.
And then just exhaling,
Relaxing.
With your next inhale,
Hold it in your heart for just a moment.
And then as you exhale,
Imagine a giant magnet holding you to the earth,
And feeling magnetized with the earth.
Feeling magnetized with the earth helps to give you a feeling of security and stability.
Just sitting here for a moment,
Breathing,
And feeling your connection to the planet.
Feeling safe,
Feeling secure.
Continue to be present to yourself.
With your next inhale,
Imagine a white gold light flowing in directly into your heart.
And as you exhale,
Imagine you're blowing a giant bubble of light around you.
And then doing that again,
Inhale white gold light coming into your heart.
Exhaling a gold bubble of light around your entire body.
And this helps create,
With your intention and your imagination,
A bubble of high vibrational gold light around your body.
Now bring your awareness to your heart.
Pay attention to your heart and allow it to soften and open.
Allow your heart chakra energy to start to blossom like a flower leaning towards the sun.
Continue to allow your heart energy to expand.
Breathing softly and gently,
Feeling the essence of who you are.
Connecting to your heart,
Settling into your heart.
Let that energy and your essence of who you are come forth with each breath.
And you can breathe through your nose or your mouth,
Whatever is most comfortable for you.
And now start to think about something that just when you think of it,
Starts to turn the corners of your lips up into a smile.
Something that instantly feels like a hug on the inside.
It could be a person,
A pet,
A vacation memory,
An experience,
An accomplishment.
Anything that makes your heart feel warm and makes your heart feel delicious and loved.
Start to remember more details of how that experience or that person made you feel.
And really sink in and feel that sensation in your body.
Lean into that sensation.
Let it spread from your heart,
Through your chest,
And outward to the edges of your body.
All the way up into your head,
All the way down to your toes.
Just let that loving,
Joyful memory spread throughout all of your cells.
Enjoying that expansion of joy and love and warmth.
Move through your tissues like liquid sunshine.
Keep breathing and continue to fill that memory with the energy and love and with gratitude for experiencing something so,
So beautiful in your life.
Feel your cells smiling.
Feel your body light up by just feeling a sense of joy.
Allow it to feel really good.
And know as you do this,
You are creating health and well-being inside of your body and inside of your heart.
Allow each of your cells to vibrate higher with each breath.
Our thoughts are electric and our feelings are magnetic.
So as you are recreating and solidifying this energy in your cells,
You're actually creating a new structure for joy to be in your body and to reverberate through your auric field.
You're shifting your resonance and therefore what is available to you right now.
Keep breathing.
This is part of how you create your life from the inside out.
Know that you can do this anytime with any joyful memory.
You can bring it into the present moment to refill you,
To make you feel alive,
To make you feel healthy,
Safe,
Loved,
To make you feel amazing.
To make you feel beautiful because you are all of those things.
We get to practice finding the joy inside of ourselves.
I encourage you to come back to this whenever you feel like you're struggling or challenged.
And know that you are never alone.
Take a nice inhale breath in and exhale.
Inhale in again.
And as you exhale,
Coming back to your body,
Coming back to the present moment.
Start to gently move your body,
Stretch your body,
And then open your eyes.
