Welcome to your grounding meditation.
First,
Close your eyes.
Now go ahead and take a deep inhale through your nose.
Hold this breath for a moment and exhale from your mouth.
Again.
Go ahead and inhale.
Hold the breath at the top,
Resetting your system,
And exhale.
Now find yourself behind your eyes.
Breathe here for a moment and just observe.
Inhale and with your next exhale,
Push your awareness down into your chest.
Feel as if you're able to breathe in and out of your heart.
Breathe here.
Feel as if you've got an anchor tied to your breath and with each exhale,
It's getting deeper and heavier.
Let that anchor of breath slide down into the low belly,
Feeling the belly rise with the inhale and fall with the exhale.
Let that heaviness move over your hips,
Through your thighs,
And into your knees,
Feeling soft and relaxed.
Now moving past the lower legs and through the ankles,
Letting this heaviness pull at the bottoms of your feet.
Let your feet feel like they're weighted.
Imagine magnets on the soles of your feet,
Magnetically holding you to the earth,
Feeling connected to the earth,
Sinking your body,
The heartbeat of our planet.
Feel the bottoms of your feet start to tingle.
Imagine growing roots into the earth.
With your inhale,
See if you can pull in light and oxygen through your feet into your body.
With your exhale,
Release anything that is no longer serving you.
Inhale light and exhale whatever it is you need to let go of.
Breathe here,
Feeling heavy,
Feeling centered,
Feeling connected,
Feeling content.
Let your whole body breathe.
