Welcome to this morning meditation.
The best time to listen to this would be just upon waking.
You may wish to stay in bed,
Lying back,
Letting the body feel soft and heavy.
Or you can sit up with your back straight and arms resting gently by your sides.
Take a couple of moments to get yourself comfortable.
And when you're ready,
Gently close down your eyes.
Start to become aware of the room.
Noticing any sounds.
And the temperature.
And become aware of the bed beneath you.
The way it supports you and holds you in this space.
And come into the mind.
Thinking about your sleep.
How you feel this morning.
What's on your to-do list for the day?
Noticing any emotions that arise when you think about the day ahead.
Not trying to change them or suppress them.
Just bringing awareness to how they make your body feel.
And letting them float through the mind like passing clouds.
And bring your awareness back to the breath.
We're going to use the exhale to release any worry that you might be carrying,
Any fear.
So on your next inhale,
Really feel into the belly the way it rises as your lungs fill.
Feel each of your cells come alive as a rich supply of oxygen fills the body.
And on the exhale,
Feel your belly contract.
Feel the chest soften again.
And see any stress,
Tension,
Toxins.
Feel them and see them leave the body like a dark cloud.
Feel yourself lighter.
And now on the next inhale.
We're going to fill the body up with confidence.
Confidence might be a sensation,
Warm and tingling.
Might be a wave of empowerment that washes over you.
You might see it like a colour.
But with every inhale,
Feel your confidence grow and expand.
And on the exhale,
Any fear that's been left lingering in the body.
Fear of the unknown,
Fear of failure.
It could be limiting beliefs or insecurities.
Anything that you don't want to carry forward into your day.
Anything that's taken up space.
Blow it all away on the exhale.
And fall into this beautiful rhythm.
Inhaling confidence,
Exhaling fear.
And feel all of that space in the body.
All the space that you've created.
When we let go of fear,
We just make more space for self acceptance and love to flow in and radiate from us.
So sink into that feeling.
Perhaps it's going through your day without pressure and judgement.
Letting yourself just go with the flow.
Stay present.
Perhaps it is self acceptance that you need.
Extra confidence and self love.
And begin to think about what you need for the perfect day to day.
What can you bring in to support you?
To protect your energy?
Perhaps patience with yourself.
Just protect a layer that will support you.
So see it shining out.
See yourself bright and radiant.
Ready for the day.
