This is Jax and welcome to a quick and rejuvenating 3-minute relaxation meditation.
Find a quiet and comfortable space and let's begin.
Gently close down your eyes and take a deep cleansing breath in through your nose,
Fill up your lungs completely.
Now release that breath slowly and gently through your mouth,
Exhaling any tension or stress.
And as you start to breathe at your own pace,
Begin to scan your body.
Starting with your toes,
Relax your toes.
Soften your calves and your knees.
And with each breath you take,
Imagine any stress or tension melting away in your belly,
Your shoulders,
Your neck,
Your jaw,
Your eyes and your eyebrows.
And now let's take three deep breaths together.
Take an exhale out the nose to prepare and then inhale deeply through your nose for 1,
2,
3,
4.
Hold,
1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
Inhale,
1,
2,
3,
4.
Hold,
1,
2,
3,
4.
Exhale,
6,
5,
4,
3,
2,
1.
And then do this last one by yourself.
And then I want you to visualize yourself at a serene beach,
At this tranquil place.
You have the beach all to yourself.
The waves are crashing.
The sun is shining on your face.
And a nice gentle breeze is flowing across your skin.
Imagine the sights and the sounds and the smells of this place,
Allowing yourself to feel completely at ease.
And then I want you to repeat one affirmation after me.
I am calm and I am at peace.
Now,
Gently bring your awareness back to the present moment.
Take a deep breath in and a deeper breath out.
Start to wiggle your fingers and toes.
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes.
Know that you've taken three minutes to bring a little bit more peace and relaxation into your day.
So carry this tranquility with you throughout your day,
Knowing that you can return to this calming space whenever you need.
