Welcome,

My friend,

To Sunday Brunch Number One.

Sundays,

Fun days,

Brunch,

A long walk,

A catch-up day.

How do you spend your Sundays?

What label do you give to Sundays?

I'm Jackie Aumer,

And I'm so thrilled that you're here and listening to connect with you,

To share time with you.

It might,

Just possibly might,

Mean that I'm part of your tribe and you of mine,

And that we'll get to know each other better.

A tribe is a group of people connected together by an idea,

A cause,

A goal,

And many other things.

The internet has broken down the barriers and allowed us to find,

Bind,

And connect with our tribe.

So I welcome you,

I honor you,

And I appreciate you.

My sister,

My brother,

My equal,

My friend.

This past year has been a year of evolution for most of us,

And certainly for me too,

And what I'm sharing with you is part of that.

I've been online for over 21 years now building a business and connecting with people all around the globe.

I spend a good bit of every day in the cyber world.

I've loved it,

I still love it.

It changed my business and it changed my life.

And although I've been online as a regular part of my day and experience for over two decades,

It was never about escaping the human experience for me.

This past year through global events,

More people have been forced online,

More often and in more areas of life than ever before,

And perhaps more than many people wanted.

I don't know,

Maybe that describes you.

So coming together in meaningful ways online is very important now more than ever,

As many people are feeling the emptiness that only online interaction can bring.

That may describe you too.

I feel like more and more people are craving an experience that the sterile and yet intrusive world of social media is not giving them.

Peace,

Connectedness,

A sense of belonging,

Connection,

Yes,

True connection,

Not some BS,

Happy birthday compliments of Facebook.

The internet solved a huge challenge for me.

It changed my life really.

It solved a challenge I had in my business.

And all of these years later has brought me back around to connection,

Truly connecting with people and asking many questions.

Who am I?

Who are you?

How are we connected?

What is it that connects us?

And how might we break through the barriers that social media and the online world creates and truly create a connected experience?

How do we connect,

Be real,

Speak and share more authentically?

So this is my stab at it,

To initiate a conversation and a connection with you throughout the week and certainly weekly on Sundays,

My fun day and my planning and preparation day,

Just to share a thought,

An idea,

A memory,

A challenge,

Something that might connect to you and bring us more together as a tribe.

So here's what I have in mind for this week.

Close your eyes if you can,

If you're not driving or walking.

I listen to insight time or a lot on my walk so I can relate.

Take a moment and get centered.

Relax your body and scan your body from your toes to your head.

Get a sense of what you're feeling in each area of your body and just simply relax.

Take a deep breath in,

Focus on your center,

The core of your being,

And then release that breath.

Now take another long,

Slow,

Deep breath in to the count of five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

And then slowly release it to the count of five.

One,

Two,

Three,

Four,

Five.

Another deep breath in and release.

Be aware of your breath.

Focus on it.

And then one more deep breath in to the count of five and release.

Continue to breathe and as you do so,

I want you to visualize this.

Listen to these words and visualize what these mean to you in your mind.

I have wisdom.

I am tranquil and at peace.

I am surrounded by beauty.

I have the ease and speed of a hummingbird.

And yet I have the calm and consistency of the ocean waves.

I have the perseverance of a river coursing over rocks and making my way to the world,

Through the world.

I am floating through space on a lily pad.

I have purpose.

I have meaning.

I matter.

Now take another deep breath in and release.

And repeat and release.

And again,

In your mind or in a journal,

Answer these questions.

What does this day hold for me?

What do I most want to accomplish?

In what areas of my life,

In my value areas,

Am I feeling the need to accomplish something?

What do I need to know to accomplish what I want?

Deep breath in and release.

Deep breath in and release.

Thank you for spending this time with me.

Don't hesitate to reach out and connect.

May peace and joy find you today and may you find peace and joy.

I'm Jackie Aumer.

Thanks for listening.
