Welcome to the Happiness Accelerator,
Session 4.
Today we will focus on acceptance.
Get yourself comfortable.
Take a deep breath in.
Hold it for a moment.
And then release the breath.
Do this two more times on your own.
That everything is perfect in this moment.
And even though we want perfect health,
Financial freedom,
And much more,
We must accept how we are in this moment today.
Close your eyes and focus on your breath.
And as you breathe in,
Say I.
And as you breathe out,
Say accept.
Breathing in,
I.
Breathing out,
Accept.
I.
Accept.
I.
Accept.
I.
Accept.
Good.
Notice how your body is feeling right now.
And release any desire to change or alter how you're feeling.
Just witness how you are feeling in this moment.
Acknowledge your existence in this life.
Remember back now to any mistakes you've made in the past.
Acknowledge them.
Affirm that they are mistakes.
And accept them as part of your life journey.
Let go of the need to hold on to what should have been.
And just allow for yourself to be.
Now imagine your future and any worries that you have about it.
Let them fall away and in return,
Trust that the future will bring you exactly what you need and what you deserve.
Fully accept that you cannot predict the future,
But you can act now out of joy and peace.
And know that acting out of these happiness emotions brings happiness in return.
Now imagine someone that you need to forgive.
Perhaps you have held a grudge for a long time.
See them in your mind's eye.
Accept them for who they are.
And forgive them.
You're not forgiving them to help them.
You are forgiving them to help you.
You are doing yourself a favor by fully forgiving this person or even multiple people.
Feel the joy that rises when you finally let this person go.
They no longer reside in your mind and bother your memories.
Now imagine looking in a mirror,
Seeing yourself as you are,
And say out loud,
I accept you just as you are.
I accept your flaws,
Just as I accept your gifts and talents.
They are all part of who you are.
When you look in the mirror,
You recognize a person who is filled with passion for life,
A desire to help others.
You approve of yourself.
Breathe in and breathe out.
And continue your mantra,
I accept.
Breathing in,
I.
Breathing out,
Accept.
Now imagine all the differences that we have as humans.
We come in many different sizes and shapes,
And all have different viewpoints.
Let go of your judgments now for good,
And accept others as they are,
Without trying to change them in any way.
Breathe in deeply and say,
I accept everyone for who they are.
I accept myself,
And I accept this moment in all its beauty.
Gently rise from this session,
Feeling a profound acceptance,
Lying deep within your conscious awareness.
Open your eyes and take on the day,
Fully accepting others as they are,
And yourself as well.
