This is a gentle breath practice that invites you to place your awareness on the sensations of your body. As you connect inwards, embrace the delicious sensation of heaviness and relaxation. Melt into a state of stillness and restful bliss, allowing yourself to fall into effortless, deep sleep.

Transcript

Welcome to meditation on sensations in your body to relieve tensions.

Breathe in and breathe out deeply and slowly.

And deeper and deeper,

Slower and slower at each breath.

Feel the air as it comes into your nostrils.

A cool sensation in your lungs.

Feel the warmth of your out breath at the crossroad between your nostrils and your upper lip.

Now place your awareness into the sensations in your body.

The sensations of touch and pressure.

Feel the contact of your body on the mattress or your seat.

At each breath let yourself push deeper into your bed.

Can you feel the delicious sensation of heaviness and relaxation?

Feel the temperature of the room on your skin.

How does it feel?

Is it warm?

Is it cool?

Can you feel any air circulating inside your room?

Maybe it is the ideal temperature.

Hear the sounds in the streets as far as you can.

Just go from one to another like a bee on flowers.

Come back and now hear the sounds next room.

Maybe it is the water in the radiators.

The sound of the water dripping from the bathroom sink.

These sounds are they are high or low?

Repetitive,

Strong or discreet?

How does it feel inside your ears?

Come back to your room and hear its sounds,

Its aliveness.

Sounds all around you if you listen carefully.

Maybe your partner who is moving inside a bed.

Or the wind on your windows.

Continue to explore the different sensations triggered by the surrounding sounds brought into your awareness.
