Resilience is the capacity to adjust, triumph, and even develop in the face of challenging circumstances like loss, illness, a protracted period of poor economic conditions, or any challenging circumstance that life throws our way. We are all going to experience and go through difficult situations because they are part of life, we will feel that everything crumbles at some point and that perhaps we have no ground to stand on. Because life is change and all situations are impermanent, both good and bad. Resilience is in most people, since many of us have gone through adversity and suffering and we have been able to adapt and even grow personally and spiritually, so resilience is an innate quality in human beings, but it can also be trained, for when these situations come or if you are already going through a difficult time. Trying to keep your boat rocking but not sinking. Through mindfulness, and the study of resilience I have created this course to accompany you and give you tools so that you can maintain serenity in the storm. So that life can shake you but not knock you down and to learn from all this process that you are going through. I know it is difficult to see clearly, but people who overcome a difficult process with resilience are stronger, more empathetic and compassionate with themselves and with others. I will be waiting for you in the first session to go through the course of this wonderful journey called life, with its lights and shadows.
María José García (Maria Garcia) is a coach and expert in N.L.P. (Neuro Linguistic Programming) and Mindfulness Instructor, Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Program (MBSR) and mindfulness (MBTC) based on cognitive therapy for the reduction of anxiety and depression. She teaches online courses and workshops based on her personal experience and training.

Lezione 1
How am I?
This first practice, mindfulness, will help us to be aware of how we are and not to get carried away by our sensations, emotions and thoughts, to take distance to find an anchor in the middle of the situation we are going through.
Lezione 2
R.A.I.N meditation
In this second session we will work on equanimity. Equanimity is the ability to respond to any form of external impulse with serenity at specific times. The metaphor would be like a ship in the middle of the storm, which wobbles but does not sink. It is about creating a center within you, which gives you calm and stability, in difficult moments.
Lezione 3
Awaken your Bodhicitta
To awaken the Bodhicitta means Bodi enlightened, awake, open and chita means mind. Bodhicitta is that tender place in our heart, despite having a broken heart full of suffering. We can let the circumstances of our life harden us and make us more and more resentful and fearful, or soften us and make us more kind and open to what frightens us.
Lezione 4
Tonglen Technique
Tonglen technique it's the Tibetan term for 'give and take' (sending and receiving). It is a method of connecting with one's own suffering and the suffering of all those around you, helps to overcome the fear of suffering and awakens compassion for ourselves and others.
