Overview
In this introductory module, we lay the foundation for the transformative journey that lies ahead. We explore an overview of the three-step process that this course entails and learn how it can help empower us to transform our relationship with anxiety and fear and create greater peace and presence in our lives.
Lezione 2
Step 1: Softening The Body
In this first step, we explore ways that we can begin meeting anxiety and fear with greater awareness and acceptance. We delve into the ways that these states often trigger an inherently natural reflexive tightening within our bodies and learn the power of conscious choice that is ours to make in every moment to shift this response. We then deliberately learn to bring openness and ease into our bodies and explore the power that we possess to create peace within us in every moment. By reframing our response to anxiety and fear through intentionally softening in this way, we create a powerful foundation for a life of greater peace and presence.
Lezione 3
Step 2: A Gentle Breath
In this second step of our journey, we build upon the groundwork laid in session one and begin to deepen our ability to cultivate a peaceful presence by learning to intentionally soften our breath. By creating a gentle breath in this way, we start to build a foundation of inner calm from which we can meet any anxiety and fear that arises with greater acceptance and presence. By continuously returning to this soft breath, we begin to unravel the grip of fear and establish a more consistent and deeper sense of inner stillness.
Lezione 4
Step 3: Embracing Our Inner World
In this third step, we learn to allow anxiety and fear to exist within our awareness while continuously working to create a soft body and breath. Utilizing these powerful anchors, we begin staying open to the full spectrum of sensations and emotions within us, allowing them to be present without judgment or resistance. As we continue doing this, we learn to become adept at creating more acceptance and ease within us in every moment and start fostering a profound sense of empowerment and presence in the process.
Lezione 5
Practicing The Three Steps
As we approach the culmination of our course, we are led on a guided meditation that brings all three of these steps together in a way that helps us more clearly understand and apply them. Experientially, we begin to see the power and promise that this process holds to free us from anxiety and fear and to help us experience greater peace and presence in every moment.
