Today's meditation is about forgiveness.

Find a comfortable seat and allow yourself to relax and begin to bring your awareness to your breath.

Breathe in deeply through your nose and slowly exhale through your mouth.

As you inhale allow your belly to fill up and expand like a balloon and as you begin to exhale slowly contract your navel pushing all the air out of your body.

Today we will practice releasing what you can carry around and offer forgiveness to yourself and forgiveness to others.

As you begin to relax into your body remember forgiveness is for you not for the other.

Continue to inhale deeply through your nose and slowly exhale.

Inhale nice and deeply.

Remember all the anger and resentment that you may feel.

Allow yourself to exhale and let it melt away.

Forgiveness moves through your body.

As we continue with this meditation remind yourself of this mantra.

Today I choose to forgive.

Today I choose.

Inhale.

Today I choose to forgive.

Exhale.

Today I choose to forgive so I may heal.

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to your body.

Gently wiggle your toes and wiggle your fingers and when you're ready slowly bring an awareness back to the space around you.

As you go along with today carry your mantra with you.

Today I choose to forgive so that I may heal.

And remember forgiveness is for you.
