Welcome to this guided meditation for the new moon in Virgo.
Find a really comfy position.
Preferably seated with your back straight but you can lie down if that feels better for you.
And gently close your eyes.
Take a long,
Slow breath in through your nose.
Filling your lungs completely.
And then exhale slowly through your mouth.
Take another deep breath in.
And as you breathe out,
Allow your shoulders to soften.
Take one more deep breath in and this time as you exhale.
Really allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment.
The new moon.
Is a moment of beginning.
The sky is dark.
The moon is hidden from view.
And a new lunar cycle is quietly starting.
It is a chance to think about what you want to begin.
What you want to create.
And where you would like to direct your energy over the weeks ahead.
I love a new moon.
I love how it makes me think about how I can improve my life.
And reminds me of the control I have.
Over my destiny.
This new moon is quite special,
And I know I say that most months,
But this one arrives just after a powerful eclipse season,
Where we had both a solar and lunar eclipse.
Eclipses are often associated with periods of change,
With endings,
With shifts in direction.
So this new moon in Virgo.
.
.
Offers us an opportunity to come back to ourselves and ground after everything that may have been moving or changing.
And to really think about what we want to grow from here.
What we want to see come alive this season.
And Virgo brings a very grounded energy to this time.
It reminds us that change doesn't have to happen all at once.
We don't need to have everything figured out,
And we certainly don't need everything to be perfect before we begin.
We just need to be honest about where we are now.
Clear about where we would like to go.
And willing to take the first step.
So bring your awareness back to your breath.
And really try to relax as much as you can here.
There is nowhere else you need to be right now.
There is nothing you need to work out.
For the next few minutes.
Give yourself permission to simply be here.
Bring your awareness into your body.
And notice the places where it is being supported.
Feel the weight of your body beneath you.
Notice the steadiness of the ground below you.
And imagine that with every breath,
You are becoming a little more grounded.
A little more present.
And a little bit more connected to yourself.
Take one more deep breath.
Before we start the visualization.
Imagine that you are standing at the entrance to a garden.
It is a very natural garden,
It is wild and beautiful.
It is filled with different shades of green.
And there are trees and plants growing freely.
There are little flowers appearing unexpectedly.
And you can see long grass moving gently in the breeze.
Nothing here is perfectly arranged.
And nothing needs to be.
Everything here has found its own way to grow.
So take a moment to look around.
And notice what you can through all of your senses.
Maybe in your garden sunlight is filtering through the leaves above you creating patterns of light and shadow on the ground.
Maybe you can have birds somewhere in the trees.
Insects moving through the grass Maybe leaves rustling in the breeze.
Notice the temperature of the air against your skin Notice what smells there are in your garden.
So I'm going to ask you to begin to walk slowly into the garden.
And there is no need to know exactly where you are going.
Just allow yourself to follow whichever direction feels natural.
Trusting that you will find the place that you need.
Imagine that this garden represents your life as it is right now.
Some parts are flourishing some may need more attention There may be areas that have grown in ways you never expected and others where there is space for something completely new.
And you don't need to judge any of it.
You definitely don't need to wish that you had done things differently in your life.
Or tell yourself that you should be further ahead.
I'm just asking you to simply see what is here.
Continue walking until you notice a small patch of earth somewhere in the garden.
And there's something about this particular place that really draws you towards it.
As you get closer.
You notice that it has become slightly overgrown.
There are fallen leaves,
Weeds and old growth covering the soil beneath.
And you know that this is where you are going to create space for something new.
Begin gently clearing this small patch of hair.
Perhaps you move away some fallen branches or pull away weeds and old leaves.
Pick your time here.
And as you clear the space,
Imagine that you are also clearing away anything has been making a new beginning feel more complicated than it needs to be.
So maybe you are clearing away the pressure to know exactly how everything will turn out.
The belief that you need to feel completely ready.
The need to get everything right.
Just allow anything that no longer needs to occupy this space to be cleared away with the old growth.
So here you are simply making enough room.
For one new thing to begin.
Just notice how different this small patch of earth looks now.
The soil you see underneath was there all along.
Reach down and place your hands onto it.
Feeling its texture beneath your fingers and the steadiness of the earth.
Remind yourself that this moment exactly as it is.
Is your starting point.
You do not have to begin from some future version of yourself who is more confident,
More organized,
Or more certain.
This is where you're going to begin.
So take a seat beside the earth.
And think about what you would genuinely like to begin during this next chapter.
Not what you think you should want,
Not what would impress someone.
What you want to create.
Change or move towards.
And just allow the answer to come without forcing it.
It might be something very specific.
It might be a feeling,
A project,
A relationship.
Maybe a change in the way you live.
Or simply a different way of showing up for yourself.
Just take a few moments here and allow your intention to become really clear.
And now notice a small seed resting in the palm of your hand.
This seed represents your intention.
And just look at it for a moment and think about everything contained within something so small.
The seed does not look like the plant it will eventually become.
There is no visible evidence yet of its roots,
Its leaves or its flowers.
And still,
All of that potential already exists within it.
And you don't need to know exactly what your intention will look like when it is fully grown.
You only need to be willing to plant it.
Make a small space in the earth now and place your seed inside,
Covering it gently and lovingly with soil.
And as you do.
Silently say your intention to yourself by completing the words.
I am ready to begin.
And allow whatever follows to be entirely your own.
Take a moment to notice how it feels to acknowledge what you want.
And to make that commitment to yourself.
And just imagine giving the seed a little bit of water.
And watch as the water disappears into the earth.
You know that you cannot force this seed to grow immediately.
And you cannot dig it up tomorrow to check whether it is working.
You plant it,
You care for it,
And you allow it time to grow.
Your intention asks the same of you.
It does not need perfection,
But it does need your attention.
So ask yourself now what one thing you can actually do to support this new beginning.
Not ten things,
Just one thing.
You're just looking for one real practical action you can take.
And this is very Virgo.
Virgo energy is practical,
Organized,
And grounded.
It encourages us to focus on the details.
And turn our intentions into meaningful action.
Maybe there is a conversation you need to have,
Something you need to look into,
An email you need to send.
Decision you need to make.
A date do you need to put in your diary?
Just allow one action to come to mind.
And once you have it,
Make a quiet commitment to yourself.
That you will take that step.
Look one more time at the place where you planted your seed.
And really recognise that something has begun.
And trust that beginnings can be quiet.
The small actions matter.
And you do not need to see the entire path ahead before you start walking it.
So stand up now and begin to make your way back through the garden.
Just notice the trees,
The flowers,
The movement of the grass.
Notice how alive this garden is.
Always changing,
Always growing.
Just as you are.
And slowly bring your awareness back to your physical body now.
Noticing your breath.
The surface beneath you as this new lunar cycle begins.
Carry your intention with you.
But more importantly,
Really carry that first step.
The new moon reminds us that every beginning starts in darkness before we can actually see what it will become.
You don't need to do everything today or know exactly where this will take you.
You simply need to begin Whenever you're ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
Thank you very much for meditating with me today.
As always,
It has been an absolute pleasure to guide you.
