Welcome to this guided meditation.
Today we'll journey together under the serene and powerful full moon of July,
Shining brightly in the sign of Capricorn.
This is a time of illumination,
Reflection and renewal.
Known as the Buck Moon,
July's full moon marks a period when nature flourishes and animals thrive.
It is a moment to celebrate growth and abundance,
Both in the natural world and within ourselves.
Find a really comfortable position,
Preferably seated with your back straight but you can lie down if that feels better for you today,
And gently close your eyes.
Take a deep breath in and out.
Allow your body to relax and your mind to become still.
Inhale deeply through your nose,
Feeling the cool air enter your lungs,
And exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension.
Repeat this a few times,
Letting each breath bring you deeper into relaxation.
Imagine yourself standing outside on a warm July night.
The air is soft and still,
Carrying the subtle smells of summer.
Above you,
The sky is clear and dark,
Studded with countless stars.
In the centre of the sky,
You see the shining,
Magnificent moon,
Radiant and full of energy.
Feel the moon's gentle light wash over you,
Bathing you in a cool,
Soothing glow.
This light is pure,
Calm,
Full of wisdom.
As it touches your skin,
Imagine it sinking deeper into your body,
Filling you with peace and clarity.
Visualise the light of the buck moon illuminating every part of your being.
See it travelling from the top of your head down to your toes,
Bringing light to any shadows and revealing truths that have been hidden.
As you stand in this moonlight,
Reflect on the past month.
What have you accomplished?
What have you learnt?
What challenges have you faced?
Acknowledge this with kindness,
Self-compassion and without judgement.
Now focus on what you wish to release.
The full moon is a powerful time for letting go.
Imagine any negative thoughts,
Worries or burdens as dark clouds within you.
With each exhale,
See these clouds being drawn out of your body and disappearing into the moonlight,
Leaving you lighter and freer.
Now identify specific things you want to release.
They could be old habits,
Limiting beliefs or any emotional baggage you might be carrying.
As you breathe in,
Feel the moon's light fill you with the power to let go.
And as you breathe out,
See those dark clouds leaving your body,
Dissolving into the night sky.
Be aware that by letting go,
You are creating space for new possibilities and growth.
Clinging to old patterns and fears can weigh you down,
But releasing them liberates you to move forward with clarity and purpose.
Trust that the moon's energy is supporting and guiding you through this process.
Feel the moon's energy filling the space left behind by everything that you have just let go of.
This energy is pure potential,
Ready to be shaped by your intentions and desires.
Now we're going to take a few moments to simply absorb the moon's glow.
Really try and feel and connect to that energy.
Feel its steady presence,
Its quiet power.
And let this connection remind you that you too are part of this vast,
Beautiful universe.
You are connected to the rhythms of nature and to the cycles of growth and renewal.
As we begin to close this meditation,
With every deep breath you take,
Imagine filling yourself with the moon's light and energy.
Imagine this light and energy coming through you by the top of your head and filling your entire body.
And with each exhale,
Ground this feeling within you.
Bring your awareness now back to your surroundings.
Introduce some movement in your body by wiggling your fingers and toes.
When you are ready,
You can gently open your eyes.
