The moon does not fight.
It attacks no one.
It doesn't worry.
It doesn't try to crush others.
It keeps to its course,
But by its very nature,
It gently influences.
What other body could pull an entire ocean from shore to shore?
The moon is faithful to its nature,
And its power is never diminished.
MING DAO DENG Let's meditate together and deepen our connection with the themes of love,
Renewal,
And blossoming through the sacred Padma Mudra,
Symbolizing our journey of transformation and opening to the fullness of life.
As we prepare for this meditation,
Hoping you are in a serene space where the noises of the world fade away and your soul's voice becomes clear,
Settle into a comfortable seat on your yoga mat or cushion and let your hands rest gently on your knees,
Palms facing the direction that feels most welcoming to your heart at this moment.
Now bring your hands together at your heart in Anjali Mudra as if you say Namaste and keep your thumbs and little fingers touching while your other fingers bloom open,
Creating the shape of a lotus flower with Padma Mudra.
This mudra,
A beacon of love and personal growth,
Invites the essence of the lotus pure and unwavering into our meditation,
Reminding us of our capacity for rebirth and beauty even from the deepest challenges.
If you haven't already,
Now it's a good time to gently close your eyes and take a deep nurturing breath.
As you exhale,
Release the weight of daily expectations and any resistance that clouds your inner peace.
Sink deeper into the present,
Where the magic of transformation begins.
Imagine yourself in an expansive meadow under the night sky,
Bathed in the glow of the pink moon.
This meadow is alive with the beautiful flowers of wild ground flocks,
Their radiant pink blossoms a tribute to the moon's namesake.
The air is filled with their sweet fragrance,
Each breath intertwining you with the essence of spring survival and the moon's empowering embrace.
Inhale the freshness of the spring air and let the tranquil energy of the moonlit night gently wash over you.
With each breath,
Feel lighter,
As if the moon's glow is dissolving worries,
Doubts and all your fears,
And replacing them with hope,
Clarity and peace.
Visualise the petals of these pink flowers gently swaying in the breeze,
Each petal a symbol of your innermost dreams,
Intentions,
Goals and desires,
Coming alive under the nurturing light of the beautiful pink moon.
These petals dance with resilience and grace,
Just as you move through life,
Adapting,
Growing and transforming with each experience.
As this meditation draws to a close,
Contemplate the journey of the spring flowers.
They endure the winter,
Holding their potential tight until the warmth of spring encourages them to unfurl.
When the time comes,
They don't hesitate.
They bloom boldly,
Sharing their splendour with the world.
So now,
It's your turn.
Reflect on what you're ready to bring forth into the world.
How will you embrace the changes of the season,
Allowing yourself to blossom fully,
Radiantly,
Sharing your unique beauty with all those around you.
What dreams and aspirations are you nurturing to bloom with the energy of this pink moon?
Let this meditation be a catalyst for your transformation,
A reminder that,
Like the lotus,
You have the strength to rise and bloom in your own time,
Revealing your true essence to the whole world.
Gently bring your awareness back to the room,
Letting the sensations of the meditation settle within you.
As you open your eyes,
Bring your hands back to the Anjali Mudra in the Namaste position and carry with you the spirit of the blooming flowers under the pink moon.
From my heart to yours,
With all my love and gratitude.
Namaste.
