This calming soundscape prompts you to ask yourself: "Where is my anxiety when I'm chopping vegetables?" and "Where is my sadness when I'm cutting fruit?" These are rhetorical questions (zen koans) that I was introduced to while meditating under the guidance of Shinzen Young, whom I appreciate greatly for this inspiration for this audio! You can contemplate these questions (to which there is no "right answer," only a "state of awareness") as you listen to the ambient soundscape, intersperced with the sound of a chopping board, or just listen, float, and let it relax you. This is my first ambient audio, created from editing and layering sound clips on the internet. Constructive feedback from sound engineers of any kind would be appreciated, thank you!
