Let's start by grounding ourselves.
If you can,
Close your eyes or soften your gaze.
Take a nice deep breath in,
Filling your lungs,
And exhale letting go of any stress or worries.
Inhale feeling the energy inside you,
And exhale connecting to the energy around us.
Let's do this a few times,
Slowly and on purpose.
As we breathe together,
Think about this.
When was the last time you really appreciated the simple act of breathing?
Something we all share.
Let's take a moment to honor the fact that,
In this breath,
We're all connected,
Part of the same human rhythm.
Now let's talk about feeling alone.
Have you ever been in a crowd and still felt lonely?
What if,
In those moments,
We realized we're not really alone?
Our struggles,
Our joys,
They're all woven together in this big human tapestry.
The idea of togetherness is all about recognizing that we're not alone in our experiences.
Our stories,
Even though they're all different,
They come together to create this big shared story.
Can we,
In our mindfulness,
Send some kindness,
Not just to ourselves,
But to everyone else figuring out this crazy dance of a life?
Think about this.
How awesome would it be if we all contributed to making the world a bit better,
Not just for ourselves,
But for everyone around us?
Can we be a part of something bigger,
A global community focused on making things a bit brighter?
As we ponder these questions,
Let's let our breath keep us anchored in the present.
Breathe in acceptance.
Breathe out judgment.
Breathe in unity.
Breathe out separation.
Let this breath remind us that we're all in this human experience together.
Here in this moment,
Take a few more breaths in contemplation.
Now,
In understanding that you're never really alone,
Find a comfy spot and repeat after me,
Either in your head or out loud,
I'm a part of this big human story.
My experiences matter,
And so do yours.
By acknowledging we're all on this journey together,
I find strength and connection.
May our shared energy be a source of healing and compassion.
Meditate on these words.
As we gently bring our awareness back to the present,
Start to deepen your breath.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
And when you're ready,
Slowly open your eyes,
Welcoming yourself back to the space you're in.
