Bringing you a spark,

Meditation is an I get to,
Not I have to.
This is a privilege.
This life chose you,
And it's happening right now.
Let's go ahead and get this meditation started.
Go ahead and find a comfortable place to sit or rest your body.
Ideally,
You're in an upright position with your spine tall and proud.
And if that's not possible,
Find the best place for your body to be alert and comfortable.
Take a nice cleansing breath in through the nose and exhale out.
Let's go ahead and try that again.
Exhale deeply through the nose and exhale out.
Go ahead and take a few cycles of breath at your own pace,
Connecting to the rhythmic nature of your breath.
Deep inhales and deep exhales.
Feel free to release your attention on your breath.
And here,
I invite you to place your hands over your heart and begin to bring forward into your awareness all that you are so freaking grateful for in this moment.
Your body,
Health,
Friends,
Pets,
Plants,
Artwork,
Whatever makes you say,
Thank you,
God,
Thank you for this.
In the next few moments of silence,
Begin to bring into your awareness everything you are immensely grateful for at this moment.
