Big welcome!
Let's dedicate this meditation to enhance the sense of safety in your body,
In your life,
Transforming your body to a sacred temple where you can go in and feel safe.
I want to invite you to sit comfortable or lie down.
You can close your eyes.
And let's start by taking three deep breaths.
Inhaling deep into the lower part of your body.
And exhale tension down your leg,
Down your feet and out of your body.
Again inhale deep to the lower part of your body.
And exhale tension this time out from the whole body,
Down sides to all direction.
Feel that the tension leaves you.
Again inhale deep.
This time fill up the lower abdomen,
The mid,
The upper body,
All the way up to the shoulders.
Feel that your whole body is nourished with a lot of air,
Oxygen,
Life force.
Then again exhale all tension to all direction.
Now let's continue to observe the breath,
How it moves in and goes out.
Bringing the attitude of invitation,
We're inviting the breath into the body.
We're creating space for the breath to occupy.
Every time we inhale,
More areas of the body in the most natural way,
Are being nourished by the breath.
Every time we exhale,
We're softening,
We're releasing tension,
We're feeling comfortable.
Inhaling,
Nourishing your whole body.
Exhaling,
Releasing tension.
Let's become aware of our body as a safe place.
Let's feel the physicality of our body by feeling its connection to where we sit or where we lie down.
Feeling how our body is touching the surface where we are.
Feeling the connection with the earth.
And from that connection with the earth,
Let's expand our awareness to those parts of the body which are not touching the earth but are touched by the air,
By the space.
Feeling very clearly the connection between the space around your body.
Bringing the affirmation,
I'm safe,
I'm comfortable,
And I'm relaxed inside my body.
I'm safe,
I'm comfortable,
And I'm relaxed inside my body.
When you inhale,
Inhale with this affirmation,
I'm safe,
I'm comfortable,
I'm relaxed inside my body.
When you exhale,
Feel that all tension is leaving you and your body is softening,
It's become more comfortable,
More comfortable,
A beautiful place for you to relax in.
Now let's bring our awareness to the space surrounding your body.
And let's acknowledge that this space is a source of nourishment for you.
It's a source of protection for you.
It's a source of love for you.
Let's bring our awareness to that space and acknowledge that the space around you is alive,
It's not empty space,
It's vibrant,
It's warm,
It's nourishing.
This space has wisdom to it,
Has intelligence to it.
And this space wants the best for you.
Allow yourself to feel protected.
That space is touching you gently.
You can feel a soft touch,
A soft touch on your face,
On your arms,
On your torso,
On your back,
On your legs.
The whole space surrounding you is surrounding you with love,
With comfort.
With nourishment.
And let's affirm that I feel protected.
I feel loved.
I feel held by the space around me.
I feel loved.
I feel protected.
I feel held by the space around me.
Visualize that this space is like the most comfortable,
Fluffy,
Duvet-like protection that gives you so much warmth and coziness.
You feel comfortable in your physical form and you feel comfortable in the energy that beautiful nourishment that is all around you.
And you relax into that.
You're softening all tension.
You're softening the tension from your face.
You're softening the tension from your arms and your legs.
You're softening the tension from your chest and abdomen,
Knowing I'm safe.
I'm home.
I'm comfortable.
I can release all tension.
