Transcript
Welcome.
Today our focus will be belonging.
We'll be doing this by activating our root chakra,
Which is located at the base of our spine.
The root chakra is associated with the colour red,
And the element the root chakra is associated with is the earth.
When activated and in alignment,
The root chakra energy centre harnesses our place of belonging and safety.
This belonging helps shape our trust,
And because we trust ourselves,
We also trust in life.
We have a humble confidence and are neither too naive or too guarded.
Our security gently ushers in reminders of when to simply let go of that which no longer serves us.
This letting go is firstly led by a time of reflection and contemplation,
And with balance and strength,
We are equipped to make the right decisions and return to our centre of truth,
Belonging and safety.
The frequency associated with the root chakra is 432 hertz and is used throughout this sand scape meditation.
As we move into this meditation,
We enter in,
Abandoning all judgement and expectations.
We simply welcome this journey.
When you are ready,
I would like you to close your eyes and take a deep breath in through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
And again,
Inhale through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
And once again,
In through the nose,
And exhale through the mouth.
Continue with this flow and this rhythm of breath.
With each inhale,
Feel the stillness surrounding you,
Now becoming you.
And with each exhale,
Sink deeper and deeper into yourself.
Bring your awareness to your body.
How is your neck feeling today?
Your shoulders,
Your back,
Your upper back and your lower back.
Allow this awareness to now travel down into your arms,
Into your hands,
Into your fingers.
And just become aware of how your arms,
Your hands and your fingers are feeling today.
Let's now move down to our legs and our feet.
And become aware of how your legs and your feet are feeling today.
Now let's move our awareness to our minds.
How is your mind feeling today?
And now slowly let's move to our heart.
How is your heart feeling today?
If you are carrying any tension,
Any pain,
Discomfort,
Any worry or anxiety.
If you are carrying a restlessness or an unease within these parts of your body.
With our next inhale and exhale,
Let's be mindful of letting it all go.
So together let's fill our lungs and take a deep breath in through the nose.
And with our exhale release all that you no longer wish to carry.
Simply exhale and let it all go.
And now allow the rhythm and flow of your breath to simply lead you slow,
Steady,
Deep breaths.
Allow your breath to deepen.
With each exhale,
Feel yourself further relax,
Sinking deeper into this present moment.
Sinking deeper into your being.
Allow your breath to flow to all parts of your body.
Feel the movement of breath flowing in and through you.
Become aware of your weight.
If you are set up,
Feel your base connected to the floor.
And if you are lying down,
Become aware of the connection between your body and the floor.
Take a deep breath in through the nose and exhale through the mouth.
Now feel the connection of your body fall deeper into the floor.
And now pass the floor into the earth.
Visualize the dark mysterious earth beneath you and picture yourself being rooted within her.
Feel the pulse of the earth under your body.
Tune your entire being into the earth's vibration.
Feel her rhythm,
Her breath,
Her safety,
Her belonging all inside of you.
And know that you and the earth are one.
The earth's everlasting and enduring power is yours to dwell within.
And you can return to this place of safety and firmness at any time.
As we move into our breath work,
As always,
We'll be inhaling through the nose and exhaling through our mouths.
Welcome any discoveries within this time and allow the beauty of color red and the sacred roots of the earth to dissolve all barriers and blockages.
With your back straight and palms facing up,
Let's breathe in together through the nose prana and exhale through the mouth yama.
Let's begin.
Breathe in with me prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Exhale yama,
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana exhale yama.
Exhale and hold that breath.
Feel your heartbeat and the energy pulsing through your body.
Become aware of your power in this moment and inhale,
Inhale and hold that breath.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale and let it all go.
And as you centre yourself again to move into the second round of breath work,
Become aware of how your body is feeling in this time.
Become aware of each breath as you inhale and exhale.
And again,
Let's begin.
Breathe in with me.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.

Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama and hold that breath on the exhale.
Again,
Become aware of your heartbeat and the energy pulsating through your body.
Feel your connection to everything.
And let's breathe in,
Take a deep breath in and hold that breath.
Five,
Four,
Three,
Two,
One,
Exhale and let it all go.
And again,
As you centre yourself,
Becoming aware of how your body is feeling in this moment,
We'll move into our final round of breath work.
Inhaling deeply through the nose and exhaling through the mouth.
Let's begin.
Breathe in prana,

Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,
Exhale yama.
Breathe in prana,

And hold that breath on the exhale.
Feel your heartbeat.
Feel the energy pulsating through your body.
Feel every sensation and vibration flowing through you.

And exhale.
Let it all go.
Well done.
And now return to each breath being slow and steady.
Continuing to breathe in through your nose and exhaling through your mouth.
And as you become aware of your feelings,
Emotions,
Sensations running through you.
As you sit present in this moment,
I'll remind you that there is a past hidden in your blood.
A rich,
Deep,
Moving past formed from the foundations of the earth.
It is that very heartbeat which pulsates through you,
Connecting you to everything within.
Connecting you to everything entirely.
And though the seasons have brought much change,
And though some nights have enveloped you with unspoken sadness,
You have allowed the light hiding inside of you to pour out.
To pour out and cover in gold the cracks in others who are longing to be made whole.
So doubt not,
Beloved.
Behold your beauty.
Celestial is your being and divinity is your calling.
Declare your mantra.
For you are grounded.
For you are rooted.
For you belong.
And let's just breathe that in.
So breathe in deeply in through the nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
And again,
Breathe in deeply in through the nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
And one last time,
Breathe in deeply in through the nose.
And exhale through the mouth.
Allow the stillness surrounding you to become you.
And when you are ready,
Without rush,
Bring your awareness to your body.
And then to your surroundings.
And in your own time,
Open your eyes,
Take a sip of water,
And move into or throughout your day with love,
Peace and belonging.
