Welcome to this magic mindfulness meditation.

I'll invite you to take your time to just find a comfortable position either seated or lying down.

Take your time to get cozy and as you arrive just gently soften your gaze or even close your eyes and just take a deep breath in through your nose and exhale slowly through your mouth.

As you settle into this moment settle in with the magic of mindfulness.

Mindfulness is the practice of being fully present in the moment we're in right now without judgment or attachment.

It allows us to connect deeply with our inner selves and the world around us opening us up to the beauty and wonder of life as it unfolds.

Take a deep breath in gently let it go and as you continue to breathe mindfully just take a moment to connect with the magic of mindfulness and its power to keep us connected to the present moment.

In a world that's filled with distractions and busyness mindfulness offers us a refuge a way to anchor ourselves in the here and now where true peace and joy reside.

So now in the stillness of this moment simply rest in awareness see if you can let go of any efforting or striving and allow yourself to just be.

Be here right now fully present and alive.

Now bring your awareness back to the rhythm of your breath and just feel that natural rhythm as it flows in and out of your body.

Notice the rise and the fall of your chest and the sensation of air passing through your nostrils.

With each breath allow yourself to relax more deeply releasing any tension or tightness you may be holding on to.

Let go of any thoughts or distractions and simply be present with your breath.

Continuing to breathe mindfully I'll invite you to gently begin to shift your awareness to your body.

Starting from the top of your head gently scan down through your body noticing any areas of tension or discomfort.

With each breath imagine sending relaxation and warmth to those areas inviting them to soften and release.

Continue this body scan moving down through your neck,

Your shoulders,

Your arms,

Your torso,

Hips,

Thighs,

Knees lower legs until you come down to the ankles,

The feet,

All the way down to your tippy toes.

Take your time with each area with each breath sending relaxation inviting any areas of tension or tightness to begin to soften and release and let go offering yourself compassion and kindness.

Now bring your attention back to your breath and as you inhale imagine breathing in a sense of peace and calm and as you exhale imagine letting go of any stress or worries you may be carrying.

With each breath feel yourself sinking deeper into relaxation allowing your body and your mind to become still and calm.

For the next few moments I'll invite you to simply sit here in silence allowing yourself to be fully present in the present moment.

Let go of any attachment to thoughts or distractions and simply be with your breath in your body.

If your mind starts to wander just gently bring your attention back to the sensation of your breath.

You can scan your body up and down and that's the practice.

Come back to the breath,

Come back to the body as many times as you need to.

I'll watch the time and in just a few moments I'll bring you back into our meditation.

If your mind has wandered gently guide your awareness back to the rhythm of your breath.

Come fully into your body,

Fully into this moment and just slowly begin to deepen your breath.

You might begin to invite some gentle movement back into your body.

When you're ready slowly open your eyes and return your awareness to the space around you.

As we come to the end of this meditation take a moment to express gratitude for yourself for taking this time to nourish your mind body and spirit knowing that you can return to this magic mindfulness practice whenever you need to find calm and centering in your day.

Thank you for joining me in this magic mindfulness meditation.

May you carry the sense of presence and wonder with you as you go about your day.
