Take a moment to really settle in to the space around you.

Maybe you want to dim the lights or light a candle or some sage and find a comfortable rested position.

Maybe you're lying all the way down relaxed with an eye pillow covering your eyes.

Once you get there,

See if you can be 5% more comfortable and then another 5%.

Take a deep breath in and a big breath out through the mouth.

You can do that a few times,

Really settling in to the space around you.

Once you feel that you're relaxed,

You can go back to regular breath.

Allow the face to be soft.

Today we are going to go on a journey.

A journey through the lavender fields of France.

It's a beautiful bright blue sky day.

The sun is shining and it feels so warm and wonderful against your skin.

There's a cool breeze in the air as you spot the lavender fields on your walk.

You start to see all the purple and dark blue around you.

In fact,

It's all you can see for miles.

The scent of lavender fills the air and you breathe in deeply,

Smiling to yourself.

As you get closer and closer to the fields,

You start to feel lighter and lighter.

You feel immense gratitude for stumbling upon these flowers as if it's your own little secret waiting for you,

Waiting to be discovered by you.

You walk through the fields,

Soft soil underneath your feet on this warm day and you brush your thumb and your pointer finger against their leaves.

You bring your fingers towards your face and breathe in deeply,

Breathing in their essence and aroma.

Few things are as satisfying as fresh lavender fields.

You take your walk slowly,

Breathing in all the beauty you are surrounded by,

Looking up towards the blue sky with white fluffy clouds,

Thinking to yourself,

What a perfect day.

It's as if time stands still.

All you have to do is be where you are and every moment fills you with immense pleasure and satisfaction.

You wander over towards a tree.

You see that there is a swing hanging down,

Tied to its branches.

You take a seat.

The last time you are on a swing,

You start to move your legs,

Catching some air,

Going higher and higher,

Trying to reach for the blue sky.

It feels so wonderful to be swinging on this day with this cool breeze and warm sun.

You feel almost like a kid.

No,

Better.

You are smiling and light and in this moment there is nowhere else you'd rather be.

You slowly start to release your legs until it stills.

You spot a butterfly floating by,

Almost brushing your hand before it lands on a piece of lavender.

You stand up,

Decide to slowly walk back through the fields and as you're walking,

Feeling your feet in the earth,

The warm soil,

You take a big breath and you feel that breath travel all the way up your spine to the top of your head and as you exhale you feel it going all the way back through your spine,

Back down into the center of the earth.

You start to breathe like this,

Inhaling up through the spine,

Out through the head as if the breath is reaching the heavens above you and you exhale back down through the spine into the earth,

Letting your breath recycle.

In this moment you feel as if you are simply an energetic rod between heaven and earth,

Moving your prana between both,

Your life force.

Each breath purifies you and lifts you higher.

Each exhale renews you and grounds you.

You spot a huge tree in the distance with lots of shade from all of its branches and there is a blanket there on the soft grassy earth.

You walk over,

You lay on the blanket,

You look up at the branches and notice how the wind dances between the leaves.

In this moment you feel so fully blissful.

You feel safe and relaxed.

Every sensation around you heightens your senses from the scent in the air to the beautiful colors of the sky to the soft grass underneath the blanket holding you.

In this moment you know you are supported by the earth,

By the trees,

By the lavender field.

You feel immense gratitude for finding this moment of peace.

As you rest here,

You begin to close your eyes,

Feeling so protected by the shade of the big willow tree,

So supported,

You slowly start to doze off,

Resting and sinking heavier and heavier into the earth beneath you until you fully let go into a deep sleep.
