We are all so much more than our jobs, our partners, the nice things we have, or the places we can afford to go. But we're also conditioned to rate our level of success and build our identities on exactly those things. This meditation is a nudge returning you to your true essence; your own inner wisdom that is a constant in you and with you, no matter what your current life's circumstances or any changes you may be experiencing at the moment.

So much of our life and our identity is defined by external factors.

Factors like our job,

The kind of car we drive,

Our partner,

Our friends.

Clubs we belong to,

Or the activities or places we get to go and experience.

But underneath it all,

Underneath all of these factors and facets and placeholders,

There's something deeper.

There's a more constant essence of who we are and what we stand for.

That's what we'll be exploring today.

Unearthing,

Unlayering the different parts and pieces of who we are on the outside.

So we can connect back to who we are truly on the inside without any of the other stuff.

Without being associated to anyone or anything or any brand or any company.

Coming back to the core of who you are.

So go ahead and find a comfortable position for your body.

Sitting,

Laying,

Standing.

If you're driving,

Just make sure to keep your eyes open,

Stay aware and awake.

In whatever position you have chosen,

Start to relax the muscles of your body,

The muscles of your face,

Your jaw,

Your forehead.

Can you release any tension in your shoulders?

Start to notice the quality of your breath,

Your natural breath.

So if it's short and quick,

Let it be short and quick.

No need to change anything.

Just noticing and with the breath,

With each inhale and each exhale,

Remembering that you are your own individual entity,

Unlike anyone else.

And you have a voice inside of you.

Sometimes it's subtle,

Sometimes it screams.

Can you hear that voice?

Can you quiet the mind just long enough to hear a peep?

Maybe a word,

Maybe a sentence.

That voice,

We all have it.

That voice is our moral compass,

Our guide,

Our light in the dark.

But we don't often listen to this voice.

We don't often hear this voice because there's so many distractions.

There's so many distractions and we also choose to engage with so many distractions.

So on the one hand,

It is a choice.

And on the other,

It very much isn't.

So in this moment,

In this here and in this now,

I invite you to choose to release the distractions of your mind,

To choose to release the distractions of the outside world.

To choose to turn inward.

When you quiet the mind for a moment,

Then maybe a thought pops in again.

And then another moment of quiet.

Perhaps you can lengthen this space between each thought.

And maybe in the space between,

You will hear a subtle,

Maybe a little bit louder,

Word,

Calling,

Or sentence from the voice,

From the voice within.

What is it saying?

What does it need you to know,

To hear,

To feel,

To believe,

To receive?

Big breath in,

Fill up.

Big exhale,

Let it go.

Throughout your day,

Throughout your hours,

Throughout your days,

Throughout your day,

Throughout your hours,

Throughout your life,

When you feel the pull to latch on to the titles and labels and all of the external associations we attach to our identity,

Close your eyes,

Get quiet,

Listen to that inner voice.

Come back to your essence and know that just as you are growing and evolving and changing all the time,

You are simultaneously perfect and whole,

Exactly as you are.

So go out into the world and show up and do your best,

But also know that it is all good.

You are all good,

Exactly as you are,

Right now,

Right here,

With no excuses and no exceptions.

Thank you so much for showing up today.

Namaste.
