This ‘Releasing Stress & Feeling Calm & Relaxed’ Guided Meditation session has been created to help you release any stress and anxiety from your mind and body. In this session, we use various techniques including mindful body relaxation techniques to help you feel physically and mentally calm and relaxed. We recommend that you listen to our session as many times as you can to really compound the positive messaging, override the old beliefs and help your mind create new neural pathways to feeling calmer and more relaxed.

Welcome to House of Wellbeing.

This guided meditation audio will use powerful techniques to help you sink into a deep state of relaxation.

So please be sure that wherever you're listening to this audio you're in a safe and comfortable place free from distractions where you can fully relax and let go.

Please make sure you're sitting or lying comfortably in a place where you're free from interruption where you can focus only on yourself and enjoy this time just for you.

Should you need to open your eyes at any time your subconscious mind will alert you and you'll easily come out of this beautiful state of relaxation.

But for now make sure your head is fully supported and that you're as comfortable as you can be as you gently close your eyes and begin your journey of enhanced physical and mental well-being.

Now I want you to take in a long deep breath.

Hold it for the count of four.

And then breathe out to the count of six.

Once again when you're ready take a long deep breath in for the count of four.

And hold it to the count of four.

And then breathe out to the count of six.

And now you can allow your breathing to return to a normal pace gentle breaths in and out.

This is your time just for you.

And you make sure you're free from interruptions.

You let nothing bother nor concern you at all.

And as you start to sink into heaviness allow your mind to drift off and use your imagination to journey to a wonderful place.

A place in nature.

A beautiful tranquil forest filled with luscious trees swaying subtly in the shimmering sun.

A beautiful scent fills the air.

And as you look ahead you see a vast array of colorful flowers ahead of you.

The sun is shining and the temperature is just as you like it.

You feel relaxed and calm.

Happy to be out experiencing nature.

You hear a gentle breeze blowing and then notice the rustling sound of water in the distance.

You decide to follow the sound feeling excited about what you might find.

You take your time walking slowly through the forest.

Allowing the breeze to blow through your hair.

Lifting your head slightly as the sun shines down onto you.

Warming you up with healing energy.

You feel so peaceful and so calm.

You can hear leaves rustling and birds chatting excitedly in the trees.

You know that this is your special place.

Your place and time just for you to feel completely connected.

At ease and so calm.

A place where changes are to come and where you feel wonderfully innately powerful.

The sound of water is getting louder and as you walk through a clearing in the forest.

You look around in wonder and see a beautiful sparkling lake.

The sun shining and reflecting off the gentle ripples in the water.

Such a wonderful vision.

Such beauty.

And you feel an almost dreamlike joy to be a part of this incredible setting.

Your own private paradise.

You decide to sit down and to take in the vision that has you so enraptured.

Colors of orange and gentle reds as the sun bounces off water and makes you feel totally mesmerized.

Take a moment now to watch your beautiful lake rippling in the sun.

You feel a wave of complete relaxation sweeping over you.

And you know this is your healing place.

Your place of positivity and calm.

You allow your breaths to become long and steady as you sink further into relaxation with every exhalation.

Allowing your muscles to release completely.

Knowing you're safe,

You're calm.

Your journey of change is about to come.

And there's nowhere else you would rather be than right here right now looking forward to what's to come.

You're now in a deep state of relaxation.

And I'd like to speak directly to your subconscious mind which often tries to protect us by keeping us in old out-of-date patterns.

I want to thank your subconscious mind for doing such a great job of protecting you.

But it's okay to open up to new suggestions and opportunities.

You no longer need out-of-date emotions that no longer serve you.

Today your subconscious mind is open to receiving new and positive suggestions.

In this relaxed state,

As you become aware of the gentle rise and fall of your chest,

You breathe in calmness and tranquility.

And breathe out stress,

Worry and tension.

And as your breathing goes in and out,

I'd like you to imagine it's just like a clear blue ocean on a beautiful beach.

Imagine the colour of a beautiful clear blue sea with gentle rippling waves that are softly lapping in and out on a soft sandy white beach.

There's a warm gentle breeze blowing and you feel at peace as the warmth from the sun shines down upon you.

Maybe you notice the reflections bouncing off these clear blue waters,

Sending steady ripples outward to the surrounding areas of your body and your mind.

Nothing is needed of you or from you right now.

This is your time to de-stress and unwind.

I want you now to use your powerful subconscious mind to look deep within yourself,

Right into the very centre of your physical core where you can see a glowing light.

As you go deeper and look closer,

You can see that the light is the same colour as the beautiful warm sun in the sky.

A deep yellow warm orange colour.

Breathing peacefully and calmly now,

Breathing in and out,

Slowly and easily,

Feel the warmth from the light within you reaching out.

Spreading gently from the centre of your stomach and reaching out to your heart,

Your lungs,

All of your vital organs and finally reaching every muscle and vein.

As the glowing light moves around your body,

You feel energised.

A feeling of calmness and healing washes over you.

From the tip of your toes to the top of your scalp.

Calming,

Relaxing and releasing tension from every muscle.

You feel heavy and calm.

Comfortable and at peace as you feel the warm orange light travel across your body.

Your mind becomes tranquil and you begin to feel totally at peace with yourself.

These feelings of serenity and peace grow even more as they spread through your fingertips,

Your hands,

Wrists,

Shoulders.

As you allow them to sink into the frame of your body,

Your chest,

Lower back,

Hips,

Legs,

Knees,

Ankles and toes.

And of course it spreads up to your neck,

Head,

Face and scalp too.

Your entire body feeling the benefits of this beautiful warm energising healing light washing and sweeping through your body and mind.

Enhancing your inner state of calm and tranquility.

Releasing any stresses or anxieties from your mind and body.

The more relaxed you feel,

The more your mind becomes free of all worries and cares.

Free from all the tensions that have been part of your everyday life.

And you experience a wonderful sensation of calm and peace and serenity that overcomes you to the point where you feel a tremendous sense of quiet inner confidence.

This feeling spreads throughout your body and your mind.

And you know that whatever happens in life you can cope with in the most effective way possible.

From now on in you create emotional calmness when faced with stress.

Because you know that there are much better ways of experiencing life.

Ways that are far more productive and beneficial to you if handled calmly and rationally.

Where one person may be able to handle a situation perfectly well,

Another person may encounter that exact same situation and find it incredibly stressful.

You know that everyone is different.

Your thoughts influence the way you feel.

And the way you feel determines how you perceive your world.

But you are not your thoughts.

And these are merely thinking patterns that have been repeated over and over in your head in order to form a belief or habit.

So you recognize that you can control your thoughts and fuel your mind with positivity and confidence in order to cope with situations in a stress-free way.

Saying to yourself,

I am positive.

I am calm and relaxed.

I am free of stress.

I am confident.

I am resilient.

I let stress bounce off me as my worries and anxieties melt away.

Knowing that everything will be okay.

I handle each challenge one step at a time.

And it's because you wish to enjoy your life to the fullest that you have decided to now only entertain positive thoughts and emotions.

The negative thoughts have made you feel angry,

Upset or sad or anxious.

And they're not important to you anymore.

So you let them go.

From now on in,

Any situation that makes you feel stressed or anxious is now replaced by a thought that fulfills your needs,

Your desires and your goals.

You ensure you say something positive to yourself with energy and meaning behind it.

So I'd like you now to have a think about your main cause of stress.

Have a think about what's causing you the most stress in your daily life.

It may be your workload,

Financial stress,

An argument with a family member or friend or perhaps an endless list of things to do.

Remembering now that where one person manages a situation perfectly well,

Another person feels an overwhelming sense of stress.

The only difference being one person allows it to affect them and the other ensures stress bounces off them.

I'd like you now to imagine a stressful situation.

Imagine something that has caused you stress in the past.

Feel it.

See it.

Immerse yourself in that situation.

Knowing that you're perfectly safe now.

And as you imagine that scene in your mind,

I'd like you to take in some deep breaths.

See yourself relaxing and calmly handling the situation.

All the time feeling confident and in control.

Still thinking positive thoughts,

Knowing that you will handle the situation just as you want to.

Being rational and in control.

You recognize that you don't have to be perfect.

You don't have to do everything at once.

You look after your health,

Putting yourself first every now and then,

Preferring now to take one step at a time.

And this helps you to feel calm and relaxed in whatever you do.

So think about one of your stresses,

Worries or anxieties from the past and in your mind write them down one by one.

Once you see these written down,

I'd like you to visualize placing them into a box.

You no longer want to hold on to those negative thoughts as they no longer serve you.

Visualize taking the box outside where you can see a bonfire has been made for you.

Feel the heat.

See the glow of the fire.

You don't get too close,

But as you watch,

You throw the box and all your worries and stresses into the fire.

See the box slowly starting to melt away.

Take a moment now to watch the box and all your stress and anxieties disappear.

As the box melts,

You can feel your body relax more and more.

As if a weight has been lifted off your shoulders.

Bad energy released and let go completely.

From now on,

Whenever you need to feel calm and relaxed,

You immediately start deep breathing.

Breathing in for four,

Holding your breath for four and then slowly breathing out for six.

Breathing in for four,

Holding for a count of four and then slowly breathing out to a count of six.

Could you repeat the process of mentally writing down your stresses and worries,

Placing them into your wooden box?

A bonfire always waiting for you so you can visualize walking outside and burning your stresses and worries away.

You feel powerful,

Confident,

Relaxed and calm.

Totally in control.

And these feelings grow stronger and stronger each and every day.

All these positive messages are now firmly embedded in your subconscious mind and they'll grow stronger and stronger day by day.

Stronger by the day,

Stronger by the hour and stronger by the minute.

And when you're ready,

You'll gently emerge from your state of relaxation.

Open your eyes,

Feeling fully awake,

Refreshed and alert.
