Invitation to get comfortable if you feel best lying down or seated whatever feels right to you in this moment where you are at today asking yourself if I could do one more thing to just get a little bit more comfortable what would that be closing your eyes or softening your gaze as you start to notice your breath taking a few deep breaths in and out of the body to refresh and reset anything that has happened so far in the day or the week allowing it to be put down in this moment you can pick it back up anytime you want later inviting in true presence to this moment maybe it even feels good to say out loud I am present I am here in this moment right now as you start to scan your body just noticing you notice a warm light washing over you starting at the crown of your head a light that is protective and safe a light that is the true inner version of you it moves down into your face where you feel the space between your eyebrows start to soften you notice your jaw and clenches all the tiny muscles start to relax as you continue to breathe this light moves down into your neck maybe it feels good to do a few neck rolls just gentle movements to settle your body even more allowing for this light to fully enter your body and ground you call it into your shoulders where you feel them lowering again melting and this light is so safe and you are safe to be here right now you are safe to rest and as you feel this light floating down into your chest your arms all the way to your fingertips as if it's pulsating through your veins starting to feel more magnetic in this grounded space this light moves into your chest and down your stomach inviting even more grounding and safety in paying attention to what sorts of sensations you feel around this safety around this grounding space inviting the light down into your hips all the way down your legs your knees to your toes where you feel your roots being held by the earth your body is solid on the ground being supported you are always supported you are always nurtured and cared for and if you feel like you need more of this energy of nurturing of safety calling that into your body asking the light to shine upon you even greater moving to wherever you need it the most invitation to place a hand on these spots where you were calling in more light and noticing any old energy stagnant energy that feels like it needs to leave the body asking it to do that now imagining it blowing out of the bottoms of your feet and into the earth the earth will recycle transmuted turn it into something new and as this energy is leaving your body you imagine more fresh energy entering your body flowing all over and centering at your heart where you feel this light expanding around you to form a protective bubble this light is just for you this is your own energy as you feel this light expanding as great as you wanted to you are so expansive in this moment if it feels good to say out loud I am so expansive in this moment I am so expansive in this moment you might hear certain sounds or see certain colors anything that comes up during this time allow yourself self space to acknowledge it and as this bubble expands as great as you'd like it to remembering that this is your energy not only the energy you want to allow in will be welcomed you are so protected and safe in this space that you have created for yourself as you feel secure and strong in this bubble you notice a door appearing before you when you are ready walking through opening the door to this space this sanctuary you walk in and you notice the feeling of peace within you are instantly relaxed in this space knowing that this is also your space of safety you are free to be the truest version of yourself here right here right now if you'd like to say out loud with me I am safe to be the truest version of me right here right now I am safe to be the truest version of me right here right now looking around you and seeing what is in this first space in this first room that is your sanctuary is there a certain color is there anybody in this space with you or is it just by you by yourself what sorts of things do you notice yourself doing in this space are there any particular items that stand out to you and while you are taking in all the sights sounds smells of this space checking in with your body noticing where you are feeling sensations or emotions in your body when you look at certain items when you see what is around smell what is around touch what is around you as we venture on are there any other rooms in this house in this space if there are invitation to go there now and if there aren't just be in this first space in your first sanctuary remembering that this space can be whatever you want it to be this is your sanctuary this is your energy is there anything that you want to grab out reach out and touch are there any smells that you notice breathing those in as you inhale deeply and exhale just even more peace and gratitude for being in this space taking a moment to acknowledge any appreciation you have for the sanctuary knowing that this is again within you you are capable of cultivating this noticing the small details of this space or any words that pop into your head allowing whatever is meant to come through to come in and integrate there are any affirmations or things that you would like to say out loud invitation to do so now I'm spending one more minute in this space knowing that you can come back here whenever wherever you want to when you are ready finishing whatever you're doing opening the door and leaving this space your sanctuary and coming back to the present moment keeping your eyes closed just for a minute longer if it feels good placing a hand on your heart reawakening the body and any gentle movements you'd like and again tuning into that light that bubble of safety around you as you re-enter the present moment so you'd like to take the next minute or two to journal or just sit here lay here relaxed with your eyes closed this is still your time and your time to integrate everything you have just received from your innermost self from my heart to yours I thank you for listening to this meditation an invitation to come back to it whenever you feel called when you're ready opening your eyes slowly fluttering them and taking your time being gentle re-entering your day
