There is power inside you. There is light inside you. There is strength inside you. There is love inside you. Although, you may have lost sight of it; it's there. In this meditation, we strip away all that is irrelevant and meaningless and truly see the light inside. Awaken your energy and essence by stillness within.

Make sure you get comfortable.

I'm a huge advocate of meditation just being comfortable.

You can lay down,

You can sit down,

You can put your back against something.

Now I'm a fan of sitting so that your chakras are aligned but whatever makes you comfortable.

I am not here to tell you what to do.

I am here to allow the space for you to do what you do.

So just make yourself comfortable,

Maybe stretch out.

And when you are,

If it's safe to do so,

Let's collectively allow our eyes to close.

Let's leave the external behind for a moment.

Let's go into the eternal,

The garden of the mind.

Sometimes this space can be scary,

Sometimes it can be dark.

And sometimes it can be the safest space that we have.

Where that space is today is perfect,

It's lovely.

As your eyes are closed,

Let's take a deep breath to activate that parasympathetic nervous system.

Take a deep breath with me and through the nose.

And out through the nose slowly.

Feel that sand starting to settle already,

One breath.

Let's do that again.

Deep breath,

Inhale.

Exhale,

Start to feel the muscles settle,

Melt.

Start to feel relaxation seeping in like a wave.

Let's take one more,

Inhale.

Deep deep deep.

Expand and exhale.

Settle.

Tune into the stillness now.

See how that feels.

Be quiet.

Be still.

Almost be so still.

You feel like stone.

You are rock solid on this ever changing planet.

Really experience what that feels like.

That solidness,

That stillness.

What does that feel like to you?

Breathe normally.

Notice that with the breathing,

With the ebbs and flows,

The waves of the breath,

You no longer have to control anything.

It's almost as if the stillness is the control factor.

You don't have to think about breathing to breathe.

You don't have to think about stillness to be still.

You don't have to think about your heart beating for it to pump blood to every inch of your body.

Sit in the stillness.

If you find your mind wanders in the stillness,

Let's bring it back to the stillness.

Where is that focal point in the stillness?

Maybe the stillness feels like your muscles being stiff and hard and rigid.

Maybe the stillness feels like the angles of your arms,

Angles of your ankles,

Angles of your knees and your waist or your neck and how those angles aren't moving.

Maybe stillness feels like the skin and how it blankets your body and keeps everything comfortable within.

If you start to wander,

You start to lose control of the thinking mind,

Just tap back into the stillness,

See where you feel it.

There you go.

Now as we bask in the wake of stillness,

As we cuddle in silence of the mind,

I want you to imagine a light source within you.

Deep in the chest,

You see a flicker of light inside.

You can think of this as your power,

Your source,

Your heart,

Your being,

Your consciousness,

This light.

I want you to imagine this light within you,

A warming sensation of light deep inside your being.

Just sit in stillness,

Noticing this light,

Not trying to control the light,

Not trying to move it,

Or grow it,

Or shrink it,

But just observing it,

And knowing that it's there,

This light within you.

Now in your mind,

I want you to imagine shedding any accessories you're wearing.

Any jewelry,

Bracelets,

Necklaces,

Earrings,

Socks,

Shoes,

Glasses,

Contacts,

Even fillings and crowns in your mouth.

Imagine shedding any and all accessories around your body.

They just dissipate.

They fall away.

They remove themselves from existence.

Now I want you to imagine shedding top layer of clothes,

Jackets,

Sweaters,

Shirts,

Pants,

Shorts.

They remove themselves from this existence.

Now in the underwear,

Shed them.

As you sit here in utter stillness,

Naked,

Feel this moment.

Now I want you to imagine shedding skin,

Allowing a layer of skin that holds everything together to dissipate,

Disappear,

Remove itself from existence.

Now your muscles,

Tendons,

Ligaments,

Feel them shed themselves,

Remove them from your body.

Blood disappearing,

The arteries evaporating.

Now the organs,

The lungs,

Kidney,

Liver,

Feel them disappearing,

Shedding,

Dissipating,

The bones,

Feel them shedding,

Leaving you.

Feel it all breaking away until you're left with nothing but that light,

That light in the center of your body.

This light is you.

This warmth is you.

Observe this moment.

Sit with this energy that you are.

As you sit with this light,

You may realize that you are not alone.

That there's no peace at your home.

There's no judgment in this.

There's no bad.

There's no negativity here.

There's nothing that needs to be fixed,

Resolved,

Changed.

This light is home.

This light is you.

This light is love.

This light is pure joy.

This light is truth.

This light has all the answers.

This light doesn't worry or think or conceptualize.

This light is home.

This light is true.

As you exist,

Know this light has the answers always.

And when you feel lost,

When you feel stuck in a loop,

You simply need to look,

Look for this light.

Retouch it.

Rediscover it.

Remember it.

Because this essence,

This humble existence of energy is all that you are,

All that you ever can be,

It's the definition of love.

All that needs to be done in times of grief,

In times of loss,

In times of confusion is to re-greet yourself with it.

You welcome it in.

Let's start to put the puzzle back together.

Starting with the organs,

See them come into focus,

Coming back,

Surrounding this light,

Protecting this light,

The bones,

The cage around this light,

The castle walls,

The muscles,

The draperies,

The skin reappearing,

Re-encompassing.

Feel that physical being,

That physical body come back into consciousness.

Remember that you're in a room,

You're on the planet,

Feel a connection of your body to the planet,

A connection to the ground,

To the floor.

Start to wiggle your fingers,

Your toes,

Feel the body,

Feel the skin,

Feel the blood pumping.

Take a deep breath,

Remember the lungs,

Remember what it feels like to expand.

One more deep breath,

Inhale,

Exhale.

And when it's comfortable to do so,

Allow the eyelids to simply and slowly float open.

Namaste my friends.

Namaste.
