Let's begin by getting into a comfortable position.
You can do this meditation either sitting up or lying down.
Whichever position you choose,
Make sure that you are comfortable and that your spine is straight.
This will allow your chest to expand so that you can breathe deeply.
Relax your shoulders.
If you want to,
You can gently close your eyes.
Now breathe with me to calm and focus your thoughts.
Take a slow deep breath in and slowly breathe out again.
Another slow deep breath in and slowly out again.
And one more slow deep breath in and slowly release your breath.
You can continue to breathe at your own pace now.
I would like you to gently shift your attention to your heart.
If you want to,
You can place your hands over your heart to connect with your heart energy.
You are worthy of receiving love.
You are worthy of receiving the same appreciation and care you give to others.
Continue to connect with your heart while allowing yourself to become open to receiving love.
Now I would like you to repeat the following words silently to yourself.
May I be healthy.
May I be happy.
May I be peaceful.
May I be loved.
Connect with the meaning of each of these statements.
Allow yourself to be open to receiving these loving wishes.
If any resistance arises for you,
Just gently release it.
Remind yourself that you are worthy of receiving love.
Immerse yourself fully in the feeling of love.
Continue to repeat silently to yourself.
May I be healthy.
May I be happy.
May I be peaceful.
May I be loved.
Remain immersed in your experience of love.
If you feel ready,
You may start to think about extending the loving wishes to others as well.
You don't have to think about anyone specific to send these kind thoughts to.
Instead send these loving thoughts far and wide into the entire universe.
You may send them to everyone you know.
You may send them to strangers.
Send them to the natural world,
To plants,
Animals,
The oceans,
Mother Earth.
May you be healthy.
May you be happy.
May you be peaceful.
May you be loved.
Allow your heart to remain connected with this feeling of pure love.
Love that you are receiving from yourself.
And love that you are sending out to others.
You are both the source and the receiver of pure love.
Now I would like you to rest in this feeling of pure love for a while.
Let go of any judgment of yourself and just become at peace in your feelings of love and acceptance and kindness for yourself.
Do not force anything.
Just be gentle with yourself as you tenderly sink into the feeling of becoming at peace with yourself.
Feeling and accepting yourself completely.
This experience of love within your heart is always available to you.
This is the source of all loving connection with others.
As you open up your heart to receive love,
You also radiate love to others.
Love and kindness is an intrinsic part of your being.
I would like you to remain connected with the feeling of love in your heart throughout the rest of your day.
Remember that you can repeat the loving wishes whenever you need them.
Say them to yourself or silently send them to someone else.
