Henrik designs custom-made meditations for individuals both online and in-person. In 2024, he held this role at the Swedish Course Center Ängsbacka, and this recording is from one of his sessions. This meditation is designed to nurture your self-love by guiding you through a memory. Research demonstrates that engaging in self-compassionate meditation has been associated with reductions in self-criticism, enhanced emotional resilience, and a more positive mood (Neff & Germer, 2013). Additionally, breath-focused meditation practices, which emphasize deep breathing and relaxation, have been linked to reduced physiological stress responses and improved emotional regulation (Brown & Ryan, 2003). Combining these practices, this meditation promotes self-love and healing by encouraging individuals to compassionately revisit memories, facilitating emotional processing and growth.
