
B2. Embodying Self-Love Through Memory
Henrik designs custom-made meditations for individuals both online and in-person. In 2024, he held this role at the Swedish Course Center Ängsbacka, and this recording is from one of his sessions. His meditations are sorted in chapters: A: Relaxation and Recovery, B: Self-Love and Compassion, C: Gratitude and Insights, D: Grounding and Spiritual Growth. This meditation guides you through a journey of self-love by revisiting a memory where you felt deeply connected to yourself. Research supports that visualization techniques when paired with mindfulness, can enhance self-compassion and emotional resilience (Neff, 2011). As you connect with the qualities of self-love and feel them in your body, this practice fosters a deeper connection to yourself. Studies also show that such embodied mindfulness techniques can enhance emotional regulation and a positive outlook on life (Farb et al., 2010).
