Welcome!
This is a meditation to fully connect you into your body,
Into all the
sensations that you may feel going on there,
Learning how to release this
energy and be with this energy and breathing love and breathing Reiki into
the areas that you feel are tight,
Contracted and allowing the Reiki to
release any stuck energy or stuck emotion from your body.
So get ready,
You
always have to ground yourself and connect yourself to the earth energy
before we start any energetic practice.
So wherever you're sitting or lying down
I want you to feel into the floor the chair that is supporting you and holding
you in this moment.
Fully feel the ground beneath you as it holds you in this
space while we go on this journey.
I want you to close your eyes,
Now focus on your
breath,
Breathing in and breathing out again and breathing in and breathing out
again,
That's right.
And with every out-breath you're letting go of any
tension,
Any stress and imagine it's melting out of you like honey into the
ground beneath you and bring awareness to the base of your spine and imagine
you've got roots growing out of your spine or a grounding cord and these
roots or cord go down into the earth,
That's right,
Right down.
Imagine or
picture them going right through the earth and you anchor yourself into the
earth's energy and this energy is going to hold you and support you keeping you
safe,
Keeping you secure,
Keeping you present in your physical body,
That's right.
With your eyes still closed,
I want you to give yourself a body scan,
Scanning
from the top of your head,
Starting here
and slowly bringing your awareness down either through your head,
Maybe over your
face,
Do you sense any tightness in your jaw,
Maybe a tightness at your throat,
Maybe a heaviness at the back of your neck,
Just really feel into these spaces
and bringing your awareness down over your shoulders,
That's right,
Down your
arms and into your hands and down your chest,
Any tightness here,
Any
contractions,
Any sensations,
Just note them and then moving on,
Scan down to
your ribs,
Your belly,
Maybe into your lower back,
Is there any tightness,
Stuckness,
Pain here,
Just take a note if anything comes up and then check in with
your hips and run your awareness down your legs,
Your knees,
Your shins,
Front of
your legs,
Ankles,
Feet,
Toes,
So you've done your body scan,
You've taken your
mental notes of any tightness,
Any sensations,
Any pain,
Any contractions,
What space requires your fullest attention,
Really focus your awareness on
this space and maybe your awareness is brought to your heart space,
Maybe it's
your lower back,
Maybe it's your neck,
Just fully be wherever your awareness is
taking you in this moment,
Feel into this energy,
Into this tightness,
Into this
space where you're at now,
How does it feel,
Is it dense,
Is it heavy,
Is it
painful,
Then notice the space around this sensation,
The emptiness that
surrounds it,
Surrounding the energy and then bring your attention back to this
energy,
What thoughts and words and pictures come up from this space and
notice them come into your mind,
Let them float across your mind however they are
in words or pictures and let them go and then bring your attention back to this
space in your body,
Is this feeling,
Is this sensation getting lighter or is it
getting heavier,
Just fully be with whatever is coming up for you,
Maybe some
emotions arise from this space and just be with those emotions if you can and
just fully breathe now into this space,
Into the sensation,
The tightness,
The
stuckness,
The emotion that is coming up from this place,
Breathe into it,
That's
right,
Breathing in and breathing out and with every in-breath you are fully aware
of this sensation,
This energy and as you are breathing out this energy,
This
stuckness,
This pain is starting to dissolve,
That's right,
Maybe this
sensation has changed,
Has shifted for you,
Maybe it's still tight there and
that's okay too but just fully be with whatever's coming up,
Whatever words,
Thoughts,
Emotions arise from this space,
Any colours maybe,
That's right and now
you'll be receiving the Reiki energy,
So just be with this healing energy that's
coming in through your crown and let this light tingling healing energy start flooding
your mind,
Clearing you of all thoughts,
Calming you and let this light tingle down through
your head,
Across your skin of your face,
Your ears,
The back of your neck,
Let it slowly
flood your shoulders and down your arms and out of your hands and bringing more of this
light,
This healing Reiki energy down through the top of your head,
Showering down your
shoulders into your chest,
Your torso,
Belly,
Hips,
Let it flood down each leg,
Into your
feet and again let this cleansing energy flood through your whole body,
From your head,
Your neck,
Down your arms,
Your torso,
Your hips,
Your legs,
Let it flood down filling
you up and as you're breathing out letting it flood through your skin and out into the
aura and notice now that this sensation,
Your sensation,
Your tightness,
Wherever it is,
Letting this healing energy come into this space,
Filling this space now with golden light,
Maybe you feel some warmth,
Some tingling,
Some shifting of energy,
That's right,
So much warmth and healing is in this space and being with whatever is now in this space,
Whatever energy is showing up,
Whatever emotion,
If it's lighter,
Even if it's heavier,
That's okay and let all the Reiki energy flood now,
Cleansing your whole body,
Your physical body,
Your energy body,
Your emotional body,
Let it cleanse and clear away
everything you need to release from you,
Down into the ground,
Away from you,
Away from your
physical body,
Away from your energy body,
That's right,
Let it flood away from you,
Let the earth take away whatever you need to release in this moment,
That's right,
And still the tingling light healing energy is with you and will be with you all day,
Making you feel lighter,
More space,
More freedom within as you go about your day
and now bringing full attention back to your breathing,
Breathing in,
Breathing out,
Feeling at peace,
Feeling calm and when you are ready you can open your eyes and come back to the
room.
