Welcome to this pranic breath renewal meditation. For this practice, Please find a comfortable seated or reclining position, Making sure that you are warm and comfortable for the entire practice. Give yourself a moment to adjust, Covering your body with a blanket, Your eyes with an eye pillow, And perhaps adding support under your knees. Enjoy a deep, Long, Soothing breath, Followed by a long sigh. I invite you to begin by inhaling the pranic energy and vital life force. Pranic energy is often referred to as the breath, Though it is much more than that. Pranic energy is carried on the breath and is the vital life force energy that exists all around us and in every living creature. Inhale now and feel how this energy fills your body a little bit more with each breath, Allowing on your exhalation the release of any cares, Worries, Or stresses from your day. Inhale what is good, Nurturing and nourishing for your system. Inhale whatever you need right now, And exhale long and slow, Whatever you no longer need, Letting go of anything and everything that you care to, Even if it is simply for these few moments here. Give yourself some time to do this so that you can release any tension from your body and your mind and prepare for the rest of this meditation. Now that you feel deeply relaxed and completely comfortable, Calm and steady, Take another deep breath in and notice how the vital life force, This pranic energy, Comes into the body. Feel how it enters the two nostrils, Warms in the back of the throat, And travels down into the lungs, Filling the lower lungs first, Causing the diaphragm to descend and the belly to rise. Then notice how the middle lungs fill with the ribs expanding out in all six directions. And finally, Bring your awareness to the upper lungs as they fill, Followed by the chest lifting outwards. This vital air or vital breath giving you everything you need so that every cell in your body can be nurtured and nourished with oxygen, Prana, And new life. Feel this now as the pranic energy travels into every cell, Muscle, And organ, Cleansing you of tension and fatigue. When you are ready, Exhale all of the metabolic waste, Carbon dioxide, And anything you no longer need. Release what no longer serves you out into the atmosphere for recycling. Feel this freeing you and giving you room to allow for new ideas, New energy, And vitality. Release the old and invite in the new. Allow yourself this opportunity to recharge in whatever way you need to, Simply by using your breath. Notice how on the exhalation, The air exits first the lower lungs as the diaphragm contracts and the belly moves in towards the spine. Then it exits the middle lungs and the rib cage contracts as well, Coming back together. And finally the upper lungs release that last little bit of air, Causing the chest to descend and move back into its original place. Renewing and releasing, Invite the pranic energy to move into every cell, Muscle, And organ, Cleansing the body of tension and fatigue and allowing the release of what no longer serves you. Inhaling and exhaling at your own natural pace and rhythm for the next few minutes. Ouch! You You You Notice where you are right now and how each in breath matters and makes a difference to your system giving you new life And how each exhalation does the same? Feel how relaxed you have become and how everything seems a little calmer and a little more clear Notice also how your breath comes easier how the mind is calmer and how light healthy and refreshed your body feels This is the magic of slowing down to enjoy the vital life force energy that exists all around us and in every living creature This is the healing magic of pranic energy Enjoy this moment and the rest of your day You
