Heather has a dedicated mindfulness practice and enjoys practicing as a mindfulness meditation teacher. She received formal teacher training through UC Berkeley's Greater Good Science Center. She is dedicated to helping people find more peace and joy in their lives using the practices and teachings of Buddhism from a secular perspective. She also works as a Neonatal Intensive Care Unit Nurse, and is a mother of two young children. She is passionate about making mindfulness practices more accessible to everyone.

While attention to gratitude is not new to me, I can always benefit from reminders, refreshment, and maybe a surprise or two from someone else’s insights. That’s what Heather brings to this short course. Her personal stories about herself and her family are beautifully woven into her teaching and feel just right for this moment. Thank you Heather! 🙏🏼
