Hello everybody and welcome to healing vibrations.
Today we will take you on a guided meditation through the Pacific Northwest.
First I ask of you to find a comfortable spot.
Lie down,
Sit cross-legged,
Sit on a chair.
Doesn't matter where you are as long as you are comfortable.
This is your opportunity to just relax,
To be at peace,
To find your calm space for there's nothing you have to do.
We will start with taking a deep breath in through our nose and exhaling out our mouth to find ourselves an anchor to become calm and at peace.
Feel the root of your spine.
Feel it connected to the earth,
Connected to the ground,
Holding you as an anchor while we go on this visual journey.
If at any time you find your mind wandering that's okay.
Bring yourself back to the visualization.
Bring yourself back with breath and find your peace again.
We will take another deep breath in through our nose to deepen our relaxation and exhale out the mouth with an audible sigh.
And as we go through this journey we will sink deeper into the state of relaxation.
I ask that you now visualize.
Visualize yourself at the entrance of a trail.
This trail has the softest dirt,
The softest ground,
And this trail is entering into a beautiful evergreen forest.
The trees are so vibrant with green,
The dirt so dark with brown.
There are no rocks on this ground.
So it is soft for you to feel your feet connect with the earth.
Feel your toes in this dirt as you connect with the planet,
As you connect with the entrance of this forest that is welcoming you so warmingly.
We will take another deep breath in,
In through our nose,
And exhale with an audible sigh as we sink in deeper into the state of relaxation.
You feel the base of your spine sinking deeper into the earth,
Grounding your body,
Grounding your mind,
Preparing you for this trail we are about to embark on.
As we've relaxed our mind,
We've relaxed our bodies,
Bring your awareness back to your feet.
As we walk,
We begin our journey into the evergreen forest.
The day is beautiful,
The sun is shining.
Beautiful day in the Cascade Mountains of the Pacific Northwest.
As we begin our walk,
We feel our bodies connecting to the earth.
We feel the soft dirt in between our toes.
As we are walking,
We observe how beautiful these trees are,
Grand trees.
Coming on our right,
We see ourselves,
A giant cedar,
And we stop to observe the cedar and view its majestic presence as it sits so powerfully in the heart of these woods.
You take your hands and you place them on the cedar.
You feel the flakes of its skin,
The bark,
Soft,
Thread-like pieces that you run your fingers through.
You place both hands onto this cedar tree and you feel the power and presence of this grand tree.
Although it is giant,
You can feel how it sways in the wind.
You feel how it moves back and forth in constant movement,
Something you might not feel if you hadn't placed your hands upon it.
You feel the power of this tree and this tree gives you power,
A calm,
Peace,
Clear,
Clarity of mind.
You connect with this planet,
You connect with this tree,
And you connect with your feet in the dirt.
We thank this cedar,
We thank it for its powerful presence,
And we continue on our journey.
We take another deep breath in through our nose and out through our mouth,
Connecting deeper with the forest.
The air is crisp and fresh for all of the plants,
The vines that grow along the ground.
The rolling vines as they move upwards,
They move up the trees,
Providing fresh oxygen,
Clearing our minds,
Clearing our breath,
Our lungs.
We feel the crispness of this forest all the way down to our root and then down to our feet,
Cleaning out whatever stale breath we have within us.
We clear it out with each exhale.
As we've journeyed through,
We see an opening.
This opening is bright.
You see the light of the sun piercing through.
You see the sun,
You see the clouds,
And you make your way towards this light.
As you move closer to the light,
You find yourself at an opening as you are exiting this beautiful forest.
As you enter this opening,
You come to a feel,
A large,
Large feel,
So much space,
So much beauty.
And in this field,
The grass is long,
Long,
Fresh,
And green,
As is the forest.
You feel your feet touch the grass as it's soft.
It hugs your feet as you take each step into this tall grass.
As you look around,
You see beautiful wildflowers growing all around.
You observe the bumblebees floating around,
Playing tag with each other on a mission for their colony,
Taking in the pollen,
Moving from flower to flower,
Flower to flower.
You feel the warmth of the sun kissing your skin.
This warm,
Warm feeling surges through your body as you allow the sun's rays to penetrate through every ounce of your being,
Bringing your mind to a calm state of being.
You are at peace,
And there's nothing you have to do except observe the beauty of this field you are now in.
You see the beautiful trees along the corners of this field,
And you are all by yourself at peace.
You view suddenly on your right a face,
The face of a small deer,
A baby deer,
And this deer makes eye contact with you.
You have now acknowledged each other.
You are at calm,
Calm peace,
As is the deer,
For the deer is connected with you and feels your peace.
Soon following this deer,
You see it's herd,
The mother,
The father,
And the rest of the family.
A complete herd of these deer have all stopped,
And they are looking at you.
You take a deep breath in through your nose,
And take a deep breath out.
Become more present with yourself and with your surroundings.
As you make contact with these deer,
They feel at peace because you yourself are at peace,
And they make their way towards you.
They are walking towards you,
And you walking towards them,
Making full contact.
There is no fear.
There is no anxiety.
There is only calm,
Clarity in this present moment.
You pick some flowers,
Some beautiful purple flowers with bright yellow centers,
And you bring them to the deer.
The baby approaches you first,
The fawn.
She comes to you,
Curious,
Curious as to what you have to offer,
For all you have to offer is yourself in the presence of this beautiful moment.
You present this flower to the baby deer,
Which the deer takes willingly,
Openly.
This deer bows his head and allows you to place your hand on its head.
As you place your hand on its head,
You feel a deeper connection with the earth,
With nature,
And with the animals.
The family is still watching.
They trust you,
For you are with their baby,
And that trust does not come easy.
These deer feel your heart,
And because your heart is filled with love and presence,
The family can be at peace as you place your second hand on the baby fawn.
As you rub the back of its neck,
All the way down its back to its bushy little tail,
You feel how soft,
How clear this animal feels,
And it brings you love and joy.
You have never been so close to a deer,
A baby,
At that.
You kiss the deer on the head,
And the herd makes its way.
The herd continues grazing as they continue their lives,
Doing all the deer know how to do,
Just be.
You learn from these deer,
The presence,
The ease of how they move through life.
They know exactly what they have to do,
As do you.
When times of confusion arise,
When you listen to your gut and your heart,
Deep down you know what is right for you,
And learning from these animals brings you closer with your connection to yourself.
As the deer pass by,
You continue your journey through the soft grass.
You feel so at ease.
There's no desires,
No wants,
Only presence of this moment.
You look up at the sky,
And you see the beautiful clouds forming all types of shapes.
As you look at these clouds,
They start to mold into figures,
Into animals.
You see a bear,
A bear with its baby cub,
In these clouds,
And still you feel the heat of the sun filling your soul with the light that you need,
The peace that you need.
You start to see other shapes form in the clouds.
You see your family.
You see everyone you love,
And as you visualize these people,
You feel deep,
Deep gratitude.
There is so much gratitude in appreciation to your family,
And you give a deep thanks for being alive and a part of this human experience with your family.
Even when you don't get along,
Even when you bicker,
That's okay because that's what family is there for.
The love never leaves.
The love is always there,
As is the love for yourself,
And how beautiful it is to be you,
This completely unique human,
So unique that there is nothing like you,
And you feel that gratitude.
You feel that honor,
What a gift it is to be you,
So uniquely you.
You bring your awareness back to your feet,
Back to the grass.
You feel so connected to this planet unlike any time you ever have,
And you continue to walk.
As you journey on,
We are still walking through this beautiful field,
Flowers all around you,
Little insects flying around your head,
Flying around you.
You come near the edge of a cliff,
And as you reach this cliff,
You feel the wind,
And you take another deep breath in through your nose,
And exhale audibly out your mouth.
You find yourself at the edge of this hill,
Out looking this beautiful,
Beautiful Cascade Mountain range.
You see the rolling mountains so high,
Almost reaching the clouds,
Layered with evergreen trees as far as you can see,
With this beautiful,
Beautiful mountain range on the horizon.
All the tips are still laced with white,
White from the snow,
Filled with the crisp,
Crisp air of this mountain range.
The air is so fresh,
You can feel it in your lungs,
You can feel it in your heart.
It feels so clean,
So clean.
The beauty is mesmerizing as you feel your heart swell with appreciation and gratitude for the beautiful scenery of this Pacific Northwest,
Completely unique to any other area in the world.
There is nothing like it.
The mountains rolling from the left to the right,
Right to left.
You take a seat.
There are evergreen trees to your left and right as well,
As you are still here in this present moment.
You are calm,
You are clear,
You are happy.
There is nowhere else you would rather be.
You have found this time for you,
For you deserve this moment of peace.
Everything in your life has brought you to this very moment and there is nothing like this moment.
You will carry this peace with you for the rest of the week.
Thank you so much.

Wow, terrific journey into the forests of the Northwest! Living in Washington all my life brings me to the forest often...once in the Quinault Rainforest, I took a hike into the forest and was greeted to the beauty of the forest, the immense presence of the cedars and evergreen trees! The forest floor was so alive with ferns and undergrowth, it made me feel so alive and connected to Mother Earth! I, also, hugged a 1,000 year old Spruce tree! What a connection that was! Thank you for this meditation, I will return often!
