Find a comfortable space where you can fully relax,

Either seated or lying down.

Close your eyes gently and take a deep breath in.

Hold it for a moment and then exhale slowly.

Let each breath bring you closer to the present moment,

Allowing yourself to fully relax into this space.

As you continue to breathe deeply,

Notice any sensations in your body.

Perhaps there's fatigue or a feeling of restlessness.

Your body is working hard,

Though you may not always see or feel the changes.

Allow yourself to acknowledge this effort,

This quiet work of creation happening within you,

Even if it feels invisible.

Breathe in slowly and deeply and exhale softly,

Releasing any frustration,

Guilt,

Or self-judgment you may be carrying.

There's no need to do it all right now.

There's no rush,

No expectation.

And right now,

Your body is doing the most important work,

Nurturing new life.

With each breath,

Feel your body becoming more relaxed,

More at ease.

Let go of the pressure to be productive or active.

Instead,

Honor the deep,

Nurturing wisdom of your body.

It knows exactly what it needs.

Your body is your ally in this journey,

And it deserves to be cared for with tenderness and love.

Now imagine yourself wrapped in a warm,

Golden light,

A light that represents the care and kindness you are offering to yourself.

Feel this light surrounding you,

Soothing every cell,

Every muscle,

Every part of your being.

With each inhale,

The light becomes brighter and more nurturing.

With each exhale,

You release any guilt or resistance you may be feeling.

Remember that self-care is not a luxury.

It is essential.

Every time you rest,

Every time you nourish your body with food or water,

Every moment you allow yourself to slow down,

You are honoring the incredible work you are already doing.

These moments of care are not separate from the care you give to your baby.

They are the same.

The love you give to yourself is the love you give to your baby.

Let's take a few moments here to reflect on the small acts of self-care you've been able to give yourself recently.

Perhaps it's a nap,

A nourishing meal,

A moment of peace.

Whatever it is,

Honor it.

These acts are important,

They are meaningful,

And they are enough.

Pause here for a moment,

Breathing in love and kindness for yourself,

Knowing that you deserve to rest and recharge.

Your body,

Your mind,

And your baby all benefit from these moments of stillness.

When you're ready,

Slowly begin to bring your awareness back to the room.

Feel the surface beneath you,

Supporting you.

Wiggle your fingers and toes and gently open your eyes,

Carrying the sense of self-care and peace with you into the rest of your day.

Remember,

Every step you take in nurturing yourself is a step towards nurturing your baby.

You are doing beautifully.
