Hello and welcome to my morning meditation.
My name is Kristy and I'm going to be taking you on a really short morning guided meditation.
So you can be laying down in the comfort of your own bed or you might be seated.
It doesn't really matter what position you find yourself in.
As long as you're comfortable and somewhat alert.
Closing down now through the eyes if you haven't done so already.
Placing your right hand on the base of your stomach as we breathe in all the way to the base of the stomach.
Widening the stomach.
And exhale.
Dropping away.
And letting go.
Inhale once again base of the stomach really deep all the way in.
Holding at the top.
Exhale.
Pushing out.
Releasing.
And letting go of the knife.
One more really big deep inhale in.
Holding at the top.
And exhale when you're ready all the way out letting go of the day ahead.
Bringing your attention.
To your stomach.
To your breath.
To the sensations in your whole body.
Really landing in the body.
What does the stomach feel like?
What do your shoulders feel like?
What about your heart?
Your legs?
Sometimes at night in our dreams we can float up and away.
So we want to land back in the body.
We want to feel the body.
We want to be aware of how we're feeling.
Why we're feeling these ways.
So keep breathing in and out and just watching your breath.
Allowing yourself to let go of any dreams or anything that happened throughout the night.
Surrender.
Let that go.
And come to present.
Feeling the bed support you for the chair.
Feel the breath.
Smelling any smells in your room or your space.
Tasting in the mouth.
Hearing the noises outside.
Maybe the birds.
Maybe the wind or the rain.
What's the closest noise you can hear?
Really tap into that.
And what about what's the furthest noise away?
And then bringing your attention back to maybe the clothes or the sheets that are on you.
Setting your intentions for today.
Taking a moment here to connect in once more before opening the eyes.
My intentions for today.
Maybe to just feel softness and calmness.
Or to flow with ease and grace.
Whatever feels right for you set that intention almost as though you're planting a seed within yourself.
Ready for it to burst through for the rest of the day.
And as you just let that intention sit and rest within you.
Start to become even more aware now of maybe the sunlight radiating on your skin.
Or the warmth of your body.
Maybe you want to wriggle a little bit side to side.
Rotating the shoulders or the legs or the feet.
To slowly bring yourself back to centre.
Back into the present moment once again.
And at your own time opening up through the eyes coming back to your space.
And I hope today brings you peace,
Love and fulfilment in all the desires that you desire.
I hope today is magical and full of grace.
And whatever it is that you desire.
