Hi everyone!
I'm Hayley Zemmert,
Your meditation guide for today.
And today we're going to do a heart-centered practice.
A meditation where we will sit and be with our heart.
So I invite you to get comfortable.
You can be seated or lying down Whatever feels best for you right now.
And I invite you.
To breathe with me now.
Breathing slowly and deeply in and out through the nose.
And if you would like to close your eyes,
You're welcome to.
And if you want to watch this video.
And that's fine too.
Breathing.
And staying present with me here.
Feeling the breath as it moves through your body.
Anchoring you here into this present moment and back into your body.
Dropping out of the mind and into your heart.
The heart is a really sacred place within it.
And we can feel so much.
In the heart space.
We can feel so much love.
But also.
.
.
So much pain.
It can be a place where we can listen to receive guidance and intuition and discernment.
It's a place where.
Relationally,
You know,
We can connect with others.
Through the heart.
We can give and receive love.
Is such an important part of our being.
So I invite you now to be with your heart.
And as you breathe now breathe in and out through the heart space.
Feeling both the belly and the heart.
Rise and fall.
Each time you breathe.
And if you would like to place a hand over your heart like I'm doing.
Feel free to.
This can help you tune into the heart space a bit deeper.
It's time to give ourselves.
The love and presence that our heart may be wanting right now.
I invite you to notice how your heart's feeling.
Without judgment.
Simply nerded.
Perhaps there might be certain emotions that are present.
Maybe sadness.
It.
But perhaps also this love and peace.
This will be unique to you.
So honour it,
Whatever it may be.
You don't have to like it.
This is all about being present with what is.
Your direct experience in this moment.
What is it in your heart space now?
You may feel physical sensation.
In the heart space.
Perhaps it feels tension,
Like it's constricted.
Maybe it feels very expansive and open and free.
Maybe you feel a bit numb in this area.
It's okay.
Be with it.
Be present with it.
Whatever you are experiencing in this moment in your heart,
It's okay.
You can be with it now.
We're holding space for it now.
Keep breathing in and out.
Deeply and slowly.
Breathing into the heart space.
Feeling it expands.
Allow yourself to feel.
Whatever's coming up for you.
It's okay.
You're giving your heart the presence.
That it won't.
And remember,
Whatever you're feeling right now,
You don't need to attach yourself.
Too late.
You don't need to define yourself as it.
It's just simply what you are experiencing in this moment.
It's not who you are.
Emotions,
Sensations.
Door.
They all come and go.
They can pass.
And they can do that more easily.
Where we can just be present with it.
And accept it.
It's okay.
Breathing deeply.
Being with your heart now.
There is so much gratitude for your heart.
With any pain you may be experiencing.
It's offering you a message.
It's offering you wisdom.
So if you are feeling any pain,
Be teaching.
Anything that feels heavy.
I invite you to ask your heart,
What do I need to know right now?
What do you need to tell me?
And I invite you to listen.
Use your intuitive senses.
To receive what it is.
It needs to tell you.
Trust in your knowing that you receive.
And if your heart feels.
.
.
So loving and open.
Soak into this feeling.
And radiate this love.
Let's open this.
It's compassion.
To your South and outwards into the world.
So we'll take a few moments here to do this.
Whether you're tuning in for guidance.
Or feeling the love.
Breathing deeply and fully.
Feeling your body softening and relaxing.
As you sink into this moment of stillness.
If your heart was feeling a bit numb before,
Maybe you're starting to feel a bit of energy,
A bit of movement in this area.
If your heart was feeling a bit heavy,
A bit tense or constricted.
Perhaps you felt grief or sadness or certain emotions in the heart.
You may feel these starting to shift.
You may feel the heaviness lift.
And if you don't feel any change right now,
That's okay,
Just be with it.
Breathe and be with your heart.
Go at your own pace and your own timing.
And if you were feeling very open and loving before in your heart space,
Maybe you feel this.
Amplified even more.
Maybe you feel it.
Raying out from the heart and into every cell of your body.
Just like every relationship you have,
Whether it's with another person or an animal.
You are here now,
Cultivating,
Strengthening.
The relationship with your own heart.
We're gonna take a final 30 seconds here.
Being without hat,
Feeling,
Receiving.
Embodying.
Beautiful.
And I invite you to say thank you to your heart.
Thank you for any guidance that was shared with you today.
Thank you for the feelings that were brought up to your awareness for you to feel and be with.
Thank you.
All this beautiful relationship you have with your heart.
And however you feel now is okay.
This isn't about making.
Any feelings?
Right or wrong.
It's about being in the present with what is.
Becoming very grounded.
To what is occurring within your heart,
Within your body,
With your feelings.
Perhaps you notice certain thoughts arising during this practice.
And I invite you to take three deep breaths here,
In through the nose and out through the mouth.
Coming back to not only your heart but to your whole body,
To your human experience.
