Take a moment now and feel into your center.

Become aware of your breath as you complete each cycle of inhalation and exhalation.

Breathe in,

Breathe out.

Allow your breath to slow and deepen.

Notice how each breath completes the circle of life.

Gently close your eyes and become aware of what you are experiencing in your body right now.

Starting with the top of your head,

Do a scan from head to toe.

As you move your attention slowly down your body,

Sense what your body is telling you.

Now,

Allow your body to sink deeper into the surface you are sitting or lying on.

With each breath,

Allow your mind to quiet and release any thoughts about your day's activities.

There is only here.

There is only now.

Now in your imagination,

Picture a beautiful tall tree in the middle of the forest.

See the roots extending down and reaching out into the earth in all directions.

See the leaves,

Twigs,

And branches reaching out like arms to the sun and the breeze.

It is the nature of the tree to be strong yet flexible and to move through a cycle of rest and rebirth.

Like the tree,

It is also the nature of your body to be strong yet flexible.

It is your nature to have a similar cycle of rest and rebirth.

Today's activities are over now.

It's time to enter your cycle of rest and to allow your body's wisdom to heal,

Rejuvenate,

And revitalize your entire being.

Now continuing with your deep breathing,

Repeat the following affirmations.

My body is wise,

Strong,

And flexible.

My body supports me always and in always.

My body is wise,

Strong,

And flexible.

My body supports me always and in always.

My body supports me always and in always.

Nature is designed to bless and uplift all of its creations,

Including you.

Your natural state is to feel completely at home in your body.

If you ignore it or have thoughts about it that are critical,

Over time you will lose your sense of being at home in your body.

It will let you know that you are out of alignment with your true nature.

It's important to understand that your body is always on your side,

So when you notice the message,

Pay attention to your thoughts.

Thank your body for the message.

Take a moment now and feel appreciation for the ways your body supports you.

Appreciate your lungs for breathing.

Appreciate your heart for beating.

Appreciate your eyes for seeing,

Your ears for hearing.

Appreciate the way your body can experience the full range of feelings and emotions.

Allow your appreciation to expand until you feel it in your whole being.

From that state of appreciation for your wonderful body,

Repeat the following affirmations.

I am at home in my body.

My body is always on my side.

I am at home in my body.

Your period of sleep each night activates a cycle of healing.

It rejuvenates every cell,

Every atom,

Every molecule,

Every organ system and function in your body.

Picture the tree in the forest surrounded completely by other trees while underneath the ground the roots all intertwine with each other.

Each individual tree is unique and yet it's an integral part of the life of a forest.

You are an individual conscious being yet you are essential in the field of infinite consciousness.

The time you will spend now in sleep will rest your body and mind in that infinite field and it will ready you for a new day.

You will sleep throughout the whole night and awake in the morning refreshed and ready for what the new day breaks.

A peaceful sleep awaits you now.
