Welcome to this enchanting sleep meditation for kids with the Magic Whale,

A most soothing bedtime tale of adventure and ocean dreaming of the deep blue sea.

And to embark upon this bedtime story,

A journey of pure magic and wonderful fun,

Simply lie back and begin to relax as you enjoy this sleepy meditation shared especially with you and those you love.

And just let the sounds of the outside world begin to fade a little more away as you listen in,

Because you're tuning in some more to this peaceful journey to meet the most wonderfully charming humpback whale you can possibly imagine.

And whilst whales are gentle giants of the deep,

They really enjoy making friends with the most relaxed and calmest of human beings.

So to be very relaxed and calm right now,

Take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.

Very well done.

Again take a deep breath in through your nose and slowly and gently breathe out through your mouth.

Fantastic!

You're really good at this.

Now just relax completely as you let your easy breathing go back to its very normal rhythm.

Because you may now imagine you are standing on your favourite beach at the very edge of the ocean.

You can see the warm sun setting on the far horizon and you can start to feel and sense the warmth of the soft sand squishing between your bare feet and in between your toes.

Now you look out at the bright blue water,

Which is so clear and so sparkly in this twilight sunset.

And you feel even more peaceful and so very happy in your heart.

Now suddenly you see a spurt of water in the ocean and now a most majestic creature emerges,

A humpback whale swimming right towards your beach.

How amazing!

You admire its smooth bluish grey skin,

All shiny and glowing in the sea spray.

And you see its friendly face looking so happy,

With the mouth curled up in a tiny whale smile as it glides in and out of the rolling waves.

So you smile back and say hello to this whale telepathically in your mind.

Because you can feel that this is such a peaceful,

Kind hearted creature.

You sense this whale friend is full of wisdom and pure delightful happiness.

The whale arrives at the edge of your beach and floats there in the waves.

And now you see how truly enormous it is and you are very,

Very impressed.

But you are also surprised to notice how gentle and soothing its whale energy is.

As you sense its inviting you on a magical journey to a very special place in the world that only whales know.

And feeling so completely safe and happy,

You take a deep breath in as you swim out into the shallow ocean waves and climb up and onto the whale's back.

You easily hold onto some smooth barnacle shells as you prepare for a most amazing ride.

You gently whisper to the whale asking what their name is.

And you receive a special message all the way to your mind as this incredible humpback tells you its very special name.

With a dash of ocean magic,

This whale puts an enchanted bubble of warmth and protection around you,

Promising to keep you safe as you have a whale of a time.

Now your huge mammal friend glides so smoothly and easily along the top of the frothy ocean waves.

You feel the warm salty water gushing past your feet as you love feeling the warming air rushing through your hair.

The sun has fully set now and the stars are coming out to play.

It feels so magical and enchanted to be gliding across the ocean in this twinkling moonlight.

You feel so light and happy as this magnificent whale pulls you across the sparkling sea water.

And you feel so strong and powerful and very confident because with a whale as your friend anything is possible.

All of a sudden,

As if by some more ocean magic,

You realise you can breathe underwater.

And you're feeling yourself holding on tight as your whale friend dives down into the clear blue ocean,

Swimming and streaming past colourful clownfish and even a pod of delighted divine dolphins.

You almost can't believe how beautiful and vibrant and yet so deeply relaxing it is to be right here underneath the calmest sea.

And now with a calming sonar call,

Your whale friend leads you even further north and much deeper into the very deepest depths of the loving earth's oceans.

And down here at the bottom of the deep blue sea,

With whale magic,

You can see so clearly the most peculiar,

Strange,

Bizarre and wonderful creatures you have ever seen.

They're a fish with neon colours and big googly eyes,

Long delicate tails and glorious fins like angel wings.

How strange and spectacular are these mysterious creatures of the deep and yet they seem to think you're quite strange and spectacular as they watch you curiously whilst you float on by on your trusty,

Humongous whale friend.

And together you are able to hear the soothing sound of whale song in the far distance,

Leading you towards a very special place.

And your whale lets out a lovely call of happy whale song in reply.

With another dazzle of sparkling ocean magic,

You ride your whale as it follows the migration trail across the world's oceans.

Listening in to the gentle whale song,

Lulling you forwards and leading you past countries and continents,

Under the stars in the sparkling moonlight,

All the way to the northern part of the earth,

Up and into the magical whale cove.

For this is where the wisest of humpback whales gather together.

This gorgeous cove is the most sacred place for these creatures to meet.

A special and divine space for them to be themselves and frolic with fun.

To your surprise,

Your whale friend dives deep under the waves again and you hear a whale song message in your mind.

Hold on tight dear friend.

And all of a sudden your whale swims all the way up to the surface,

Emerges from the depths and breaches out of the ocean as it flips and twists its strong body through the cool night air.

For a moment of breathless excitement,

You feel like you are flying.

And this is the most brilliant fun you have ever had.

Wow!

And now you see,

Much to your amazement,

The other humpback whales breaching about,

Dancing,

Flipping and twirling out of the waves,

Celebrating being together here in the hidden cove with their own wise kind.

Because tonight,

High in the heavens above,

Is Mother Nature's beautiful light show.

You gaze up at the glittering night sky,

So gorgeous in the moonlight,

And you admire the stunning northern lights.

The dreamy aurora borealis paints the sky in the most glorious colours.

These colourful natural dazzles of green,

Pink,

Purple and yellow twinkle across the landscape,

Appearing so magical and mystical as they streak and glimmer right before your very eyes,

Even more beautiful,

Reflected in the ocean waves.

Your whale friend encourages you to make a special wish now,

For this is what the humpback kind do here in this enchanting cove,

And so you make a very special wish now too.

With pure happiness,

You feel into your heart a most wonderful wish of yours to very soon come true.

Helped by all of these beautiful energies of the whales,

The glorious northern lights and your own happy,

Joyful spirit.

And now you'll hear my voice will pause for a moment or two,

Because right here in your happiest,

Calmest dreams,

You'll have some time now to really explore some more with your wonderful,

Magic whale friend.

Taking all the time to your heart's content,

And you really sense and know your special whale friend sends you right now a friendly and soothing message to your mind,

A message that says it is now time for you to return back home.

Because your warm and cosy bed is waiting there for you.

So you hug your wonderful whale friend and say thank you for this special friendship.

With a little dazzle of ocean magic,

You glide so gently up through the open night air.

Floating away under the stars as the scene starts to fade.

And you very soon return home,

Because you slowly and gently feel yourself relaxing down and down into your comfortable,

Warm and safe,

Cosy bed.

Moving yourself back to where you were resting and sleeping so very well.

Taking a deeper,

Longer,

Easier breath in and a slower,

Sleepier,

Gentle breath out.

Because you're just deciding to sleep now and to sleep so well.

Because you feel so safe and you feel so incredibly loved.

And you feel that right now is the very best time to just fall asleep.
