Transcript

Meditation.

Go ahead and get comfortable sitting up right or lying down.

Drop your shoulders,

Opening up the chest and the heart and gently close your eyes when you're ready.

And let's start by taking deep breaths.

Nothing forced,

But a comfortable full breath in through the nose,

Feeling the lungs and the stomach expand.

And then we'll start with the stomach expand.

Then a brief pause at the top of the inhale.

And then a full breath out through the mouth,

Fully emptying all the air out on each breath.

As you continue taking these deep,

Comfortable breaths,

Imagine each inhale filling and cleansing your entire body.

And then imagine breathing out any stagnant,

Stuck or negative energy with each exhale.

Perhaps this negative energy has a color.

Maybe it's a dark black.

And with each breath in,

You fill with more of a crystal clear cleansing energy.

And with each breath out,

You release more and more of the black.

Those dark emotions and thoughts that have been weighing you down.

Breathing in clear and light.

Breathing out heavy and dark.

Start to breathe a little faster now,

Without any pauses.

Still in through the nose,

Inhaling fully and out through the mouth.

Continuing to imagine this crystal clear energy,

Cleansing your body with each breath.

Take a deep breath in now and hold at the top.

Imagining now that there's only a very small amount of darkness left in your body.

Keep holding,

Focusing on those dark spots.

Maybe even thinking about specific thoughts or emotions lately that you're ready to release.

And now take a slow but forceful exhale out through the mouth,

Blowing out any remaining dark,

Stuck or negative energy.

Good.

Returning to normal light breathing now.

Just imagining that you're completely crystal clear on the inside now.

Imagine your heart is a bright,

White,

Almost blinding light.

This light fills your entire body.

And it becomes a beam.

A beam now going through the top of your head,

Connecting you to God,

The universe,

A higher power,

Or simply love.

And this beam expands down right now,

Running through you and out through your base or your feet,

Grounding you into the earth,

Helping you feel warm and safe.

Picture now this bright,

Powerful light flowing through you and beyond you.

Turning the edges and the outside of your body completely crystal clear now.

And as this powerful light flows,

Life,

Energy,

Love,

Ease and good also flow through you with this light.

Slowly,

This beam starts to come back into your body now,

Shrinking,

Coming back into your heart.

And the edges of you,

Your outer body,

Start to turn solid again,

Back to its original form.

As you bring awareness back to your body now,

Gently wiggle your fingers and toes.

And when you're ready,

Open your eyes.

Take one more deep breath in and out,

Remembering that you are clear,

You are calm,

And you are strong.

Helpful! My own breath pattern is deeper, slower than the modeling, but I went at my own pace and found this meditation to be affirming, grounding, and helpful. Clearing!
