Hey,
It's Hannah,
And welcome to your dusting practice.
So many of you ask for this every time we practice together live on Insight Timer.
And it was definitely highly recommended for these videos too.
So this is a nice grounding,
Energy-releasing technique.
You don't need anything,
Just your paws.
I hope you enjoy it.
I hope you feel really good after.
You can sit or stand for this practice.
It doesn't matter.
But just get comfortable.
You can close your eyes and just settle in.
And take a few breaths,
Just breathing like yourself here.
Notice how you're feeling.
And sometimes as we move through our day,
We collect different energies,
Whether it's energy that we're creating or energy that is getting sent to us or thrown at us.
So sometimes you go into a place or you interact with someone and you just kind of feel that energy lingering with you.
This is how we kind of energetically clear that Also if energy work isn't something you're super into,
That's totally fine.
This is also going to bring you into your body.
So this is a perfect practice to feel centered,
To start to just feel like yourself again.
So first,
Just bring your awareness to your hands.
Then imagine like you walked through a cobweb.
You are going to put your hands through your hair.
And take off that cobweb.
Imagine there's two little trash bins here and you're gonna put the cobwebs in the trash bin.
So again,
You could imagine this is dust,
Maybe not a cobweb.
You can think of it as energy,
Whatever you want,
But you're going to take it and throw it away.
So dust,
Dust,
Dust.
And as you're dusting off just your hair here,
You can think of this like you're dusting off your mind.
Anything sitting heavy on your mind.
Once you've kind of gotten everywhere.
Then you can move on to your face.
So just dust off your face like you're in a face wash commercial.
And the idea is that we're always dusting away from our bodies.
We don't want to send more of that energy onto ourselves.
So you can dust off any masks you've had to wear,
Any expression.
Dust off your throat.
Any unsaid words.
Anything stopping you from speaking your truth?
Dust off your shoulders,
The weight of the world on your shoulders.
Dust off your heart.
Anything sitting heavy on your heart?
Dust off one arm.
All the doing.
All the kind of outpouring of energy.
The overgiving.
Dust off every single finger,
Even the spots on your arm that you forget about,
Like your inner elbow,
Your armpit.
Dust it off.
And maybe just take a second and notice the difference between the arm you dusted and the arm you didn't.
And then we'll head over to the other side.
So again,
Dust it off.
All the doing,
The giving.
Dust off your upper back.
The weight of the world sits there too.
Dust off the rest of your back.
There's always going to be part you can't reach.
That's fine.
And all those things we throw over our shoulders that we're going to deal with later.
Dust off your abdomen.
Any undigested emotion.
Anything unprocessed.
And then choose a leg.
And we're going to start by dusting off that hip.
So your glute,
The crease of your hips,
All those feelings you sit on all day long.
And dust that all the way down through your knee,
Back of your knee.
Your calf,
Your shin.
All the way down to ankles and the soles of your feet and your toes.
Anything stopping you from grounding?
Then you can go to the other side.
Dust off that hip,
That leg.
And don't be surprised if emotions come up as you're doing this.
It's a great way to just let it go.
Also a great way to energetically cleanse at the end of your day or the beginning of your day.
Don't forget the soles of your feet,
Every toe.
And once you feel fully dusted,
Take a moment and check if there's anywhere else that you want to dust off a little bit more.
You can flick off your fingers,
Shake out your hands.
And then just take a few breaths.
Notice how different you feel.
And remember to come back to this practice whenever you want.
Whenever you feel like you need a little bit of an energy shift,
It's always here for you.
Thanks for practicing with me.
