Gently close your eyes,

Let yourself settle into stillness.

Gently soften your body,

Roll your shoulders back and take a slow nourishing breath in.

As you exhale,

Feel yourself arriving in this moment,

This sacred solstice space.

This is a time where light meets shadow.

It's a turning of the wheel and a moment made for remembering.

Now imagine yourself standing barefoot at the base of a soft green hillside.

The grass beneath you is dewy and fragrant,

The sun is golden but gentle and its warmth kisses your skin.

A light breeze stirs all around you carrying the faint scent of wildflowers and something older,

Something ancient,

Like a story and a mystery.

You begin to walk,

With each step up this hill you feel more present,

More grounded and more alive.

Notice how the rhythm of your breath matches the rhythm of your feet.

As you climb further up the hill,

You breeze past patches of purple heather as yellow buttercups dance in the breeze.

You pause for a moment,

Running your fingers through the wildflowers as the earth whispers to you,

There's a hum in the air,

A gentle pulse as if the land itself is singing.

And then at the top of the hill you see it,

The ancient ruins of a stone castle,

So weathered,

Strong and timeless.

The wind shifts,

Brushing your hair from your face as if to say you've arrived.

You step into the open stone archway,

No roof remains here,

Just a wide endless expanse of sky,

And from this sacred perch you look out,

Rolling green fields stretch in all directions.

You can see patches of golden wheat swaying,

Clusters of oak trees guarding the land like elders,

And tiny cottages dot the horizon,

Their smoke curling upwards into the sky.

Take a moment now in this stillness to appreciate this view.

You are standing at the centre of your own story.

This hill,

This moment,

This breath,

It's all for you.

Now gently place your hand on your heart,

And repeat,

I honour the light within me and around me.

I trust the path beneath my feet.

I am rooted in my truth and rising in my radiance.

Breathe that in,

Allow the words to settle into your bones.

Now gently whisper from your heart,

Sacred sun,

Source of light and life,

What wisdom do you hold for me today?

And open your heart to receive,

Whether that's an image,

A word,

A sensation or a knowing,

Allow it to rise without judgement.

And take a moment to ask,

What is waiting to blossom through me?

Where am I being asked to shine with more truth?

What must I release to radiate more fully?

Allow the light to answer in its own way and trust the whispers.

As the solstice sun continues to shine down,

You begin to feel a shift.

Not a dramatic one,

But a subtle,

Soft unfolding.

A sense that something has awakened inside of you.

This is your solstice shift.

A return to rhythm and a return to your wisdom.

You are not here by accident.

This hilltop,

This sky,

This warmth,

It called to you and you answered.

Now slowly begin to turn and take in the land below.

Notice how the fields stretch like patchworks and how the wildflowers sway in waves.

The world waits for no one and yet in this moment it waits just for you.

Remember that you are vast,

Rooted and grounded.

The light inside of you is no less powerful than the sun itself.

As you gently begin your descent,

Notice how each footstep sends ripples of gratitude back to the earth.

As you come to the end of this journey,

Remember that you can carry the magic with you and allow it to guide you through the rest of your day.

When you feel ready,

Begin to bring some gentle movement back into your body.

Wiggle your fingers and your toes,

Roll your shoulders gently and slowly flutter open your eyelids to welcome you back into your space.
