Hello and welcome to this sound bath.
My name is Selma and I'll be your guide.
Today is all about just relaxing into sound,
Letting the soundscapes that I'll be playing fill your entire body,
Fill your soul,
Fill your mind,
Allowing the sound to really help you come to a place of groundedness,
Of centeredness,
Helping you come back to your center.
Ideally you would listen with headphones and find a nice comfortable place to lie down and relax.
And the best thing is there's nothing to do from there.
So just lie back,
Relax,
And tune in.
I'll first guide you through a brief meditation to help you start to relax and let go of your day.
And then my voice will go away,
I'll start to play the gongs,
And you'll be invited to come on a sound journey with me.
Towards the end there are a few other instruments and then I'll guide you back so you know when it's time to come around again.
I'll ring this bell once to begin and then three times at the end.
So settling into your space,
Settling into your body.
Just letting gravity do its work to connect you with whatever surfaces beneath you.
Allowing the eyes to close or resting the gaze softly.
And taking a moment first to tune into the space around you,
Even with the eyes closed.
Sensing into the energy of this space.
Noticing any smells,
Any sounds.
Noticing the temperature of the air.
And then starting to draw your awareness to your body.
Bringing your awareness inwards.
And taking an internal inventory.
Just noticing whatever might be going on for you today.
Noticing any sensations in the physical body.
Acknowledging any strong or subtle emotions that might be floating around.
Knowing that there's no need to change any of that,
We're just creating space for what already is.
Seeing now if you can tune in to the coming and going of your breath.
Allowing the breath to keep you here in this moment.
Starting to deepen the breath,
Drawing it down into your belly.
We'll begin by taking three deep belly breaths together.
So ready,
Breathing in,
Filling the lungs,
Filling the belly,
And then breathing out through the mouth.
Taking another deep breath into the belly.
Breathing in and breathing out through the mouth.
And one more,
Your deepest breath of the day,
Inhaling,
Filling the lungs,
Filling the belly,
Taking a little more air,
All the way to your maximum capacity.
And then exhale,
Release.
Sighing that breath out,
Exhaling until you can't exhale any more.
Allowing the breath to resume its natural rhythm,
Letting it come and go.
As you draw your awareness now down to the soles of your feet,
Tips of your toes,
The sides,
The tops of the feet,
The ankles,
The heels,
Feeling really rooted down at the feet.
Letting the legs get heavy.
Letting the hip bones sink into the earth.
Scanning the mid back,
Upper back,
Shoulders and shoulder blades.
Allowing any tension to fall away.
Feeling the arms,
The elbows,
The wrists,
Hands,
Fingers,
Fingertips.
And then drawing your awareness to the center of your chest,
To your heart space.
Feeling a sense of opening across the chest,
Maybe a sense of warmth in the very center.
And then moving up to your throat and your neck,
Relaxing your jaw,
Letting your tongue settle.
Letting your eyes settle in their sockets,
Softening all the features of your face.
Letting the back of the head settle.
Letting the top of the head settle,
Letting your whole body settle into the earth.
Letting a wave of relaxation come over you as you start to drift away to a place of peace.
You have an amazing try.
Thank you,
God.
Awesome.
Thank you,
God.

Bringing your awareness back to your body,
To your breath.
Taking a moment here to check in,
Just noticing how you're feeling in this moment.
On the other side of the sound journey.
On the other side of the sound journey.
Savoring any sense of calm,
Sense of peace you might have found.
Feeling free to stay here for a few more moments.
Or gently bringing movement back into the body,
Wiggling the fingers,
The toes.
Taking some gentle stretches,
Doing whatever feels right to you.
Thank you for joining me on this journey.
I wish you a wonderful rest of the day.
Take care of yourself and be well.
