This is a time and place to improve your relationship,
A space to find kindness,
Your breath,
And the emotional growth you so need and desire.
Loving yourself is never easy,
As self-love is a practice.
It takes time to grow.
It takes time for you to invite yourself into the best pieces of you.
Let's begin this guided self-love meditation by remembering to be gentle.
Be gentle with yourself as these affirmations find your mind,
Your heart,
Your emotional body,
And your soul.
If the affirmations don't quite feel authentic yet,
Over time with practice,
You'll begin to internalize them more.
But the first step today is simply to give yourself permission to allow these words to settle within you.
Settling means to allow the emotions to rise.
Do your best to acknowledge them in a nonjudgmental way.
Begin to settle in now,
Getting comfortable in your body,
Becoming comfortable in your breath.
Allow the fall and rise of your chest to be your guide.
Bring your shoulders up towards your ears and consciously release them down your spine.
Give yourself space and grace to shake away any thoughts that keep trying to come in.
And gently bring your attention now to your breath.
Noticing the warmth as you take a slow,
Deep,
If you're holding tension,
Notice it now.
Bring your awareness to that place,
Whether it's your shoulders,
Your back,
Or your jaw.
And give yourself permission to let it go.
With another deep breath,
Surrender.
Surrender to your greatness.
Surrender to yourself.
Gently allow these words to echo in your mind,
Affirmations of the self.
Rather than worry what others think,
I am choosing to live my life for me.
I am one of a kind,
And in every way,
I am already enough.
I am evolving each and every day.
I choose to cultivate positive thoughts about myself because I know they are the truth.
I am allowed to have my needs met,
And I give myself permission to know that I do the best that I can.
Rather than follow the expectations of others,

It is an action.
It's something that I take in and hold as value.
To love myself means no one defines me.
I define me.
I choose me.
I willingly and actively know that I am worthy.
I have balance.
I am balance.
My energy is beautiful.
My energy is love.

Not only outside but in.

Self-love is a practice.
