We made it to the end of another great day.

Praise the Lord.

Good evening,

My name is Glen and I have the honor to be with you as you bring your body to relaxation.

Preparing for a great night's rest.

Reset.

Energizing for the morning.

Start with a nice deep breath in through your nose and exhale all the way out.

Breathe normally.

We're going to shake out our feet.

Let them go side to side.

You can wiggle your shoulders a little bit as you settle into bed.

Shake your hands and drop them down to your sides.

Bringing in stillness here.

We're going to inhale,

Bringing that air up through your feet into your calves and your thighs.

Exhale that out.

Let your legs get heavier and heavier.

Breathe into your trunk.

Feeling the air fill your belly,

Your chest cavity,

Feeling the expansiveness across your shoulders.

And exhale out.

Make a light fist with your hands.

Feel your fingertips against your palms.

And release.

Take another breath in here.

Feel it filling to the top of your head.

And exhale.

One more big breath in.

And out all the way.

When you think you don't have any more breath,

Exhale a little more.

Any thoughts that come in,

Let them go out just as quickly as they came.

Do a Xerox scanner like a light going from the tip of your head,

Going down your body,

Loosening your jaw,

Letting your throat fall open,

Your shoulders,

Your chest.

Feel that light going down your abdomen,

Your strong belly,

Across your hips,

Down your thighs.

Let that wave of softness,

Calmness go down your calves,

Right out your toes.

Thank you,

Lord,

For gracing us with another day.

I pray,

Lord,

That you protect us and keep us as we refresh in our bodies with this night's rest.

We pray,

Lord,

For your new mercies that we know will be there in the morning.

Enjoy this abundant rest that the Lord has for you.

Tomorrow will come with a day full of energy and rejuvenation.

But for now,

It is time for rest.
