Namaste.
My name is Danielle and welcome to a practice of deep relaxation and renewal.
A full-body 30-minute yoga nidra relaxation practice just for you,
Preparing you for a restful night's sleep and rejuvenation.
If you're ready to release tension and invite tranquility into your body and mind,
Then continue on with this recording.
Find a comfortable and quiet space where you can fully relax without any distractions.
Prepare your props such as blankets and pillows to create a cozy nest of comfort.
Dim the lights,
Adjust your surroundings and settle into a position where you can rest undisturbed for the duration of this practice.
Traditionally in Shavasana,
Lying down on your back with your legs slightly apart,
Arms relaxed by your sides and palms facing upward.
For added comfort,
You can place a pillow or blanket under your knees.
You might practice lying in your bed if you would like to use this to help fall asleep.
Now make those final adjustments to enhance your comfort and begin this well-earned journey of full-body relaxation.
The practice of yoga nidra now begins.
Close your eyes gently,
Allowing the world around you to fade into the background.
Now take a deep breath.
Breathe in through the nose.
Feel the coolness of the air as it enters the body.
Imagine drawing in positivity and light,
Filling every cell of your being with rejuvenation.
Exhale slowly through your mouth,
Releasing any tension or stress that may have accumulated throughout your day.
With each breath out,
Feel your body starting to soften.
Relax as if a weight is being lifted from your shoulders.
Let go of the cares of the outside world,
Allowing yourself this precious time to unwind and rejuvenate.
As you continue to breathe deeply and consciously,
Feel your body sinking into the support beneath you.
Whether you're lying on a mat,
A soft carpet,
Or a cozy bed,
Feel the surface gently cradle every part of your body with loving support.
Notice how the surface beneath you molds to the contours of your body,
Providing a sense of security and comfort.
Feel the tension melting away from your muscles,
Allowing them to become loose and heavy.
Relax.
With each exhale,
Surrender a little more to the support beneath you.
Let go of any need to control or hold on,
Allowing yourself to fully relax in this moment of stillness.
Feel the gentle rise and fall of your chest with each breath,
A soothing rhythm that lulls you into a state of deep relaxation.
Notice how your breath becomes slower and more effortless.
Allow yourself to fully immerse in the sensation of relaxation and surrender.
Continue with each breath.
Let the outside world continue to fade away as you turn your focus inward,
Connecting with the peace that resides within you.
Feel your eyes soft and resting towards your heart space.
Remind yourself that you are safe,
Supported,
And deeply cared for in this moment of stillness and quietude.
It's time to set your intention for this practice,
Your Sankalpa,
A personal affirmation that aligns with your heart's desires.
Choose a Sankalpa that speaks to your soul,
Such as,
I am deeply rested and rejuvenated.
My body is a vessel of healing and renewal.
I welcome restful sleep and peaceful dreams.
Repeat your Sankalpa silently three times,
Feeling its truth within you.
As you repeat your Sankalpa silently to yourself,
Feel its power.
Now,
We'll move through the body with the rotation of consciousness.
As I guide you,
Simply bring your attention to each area of your body,
As I mentioned,
Feeling a sense of presence and relaxation wash over you.

Release,
Let gravity do the work.

Release tension,
Let it all dissolve into the air around you.
As you exhale,
Feel yourself becoming lighter with each breath as if you're floating,
Hovering above the earth's surface,
Above your body.
Imagine yourself standing at the edge of a lake,
A calm lake,
The water glistening in the soft moonlight.
Imagine the cool breeze on your skin as you gaze out at the stillness of the beautiful water,
Calm and serene.
Visualize a garden filled with blooming flowers of every color imaginable.
Feel the soft petals beneath your fingertips as you wander through the oasis of beauty.
Picture yourself floating among the stars,
Surrounded by the vastness of the cosmos.
Feel the weightlessness and peace that comes with being one with the universe.
Imagine a cozy cabin in the woods,
Nestled among the towering trees.
Feel the warmth of the fireplace.
Feel completely at ease as you curl up with a soft blanket,
Completely relaxed,
Completely at peace.
Feel the warmth at the center of your being.
In this space,
Return once again to your Sankalpa,
Your guiding intention.
Repeat it to yourself once again,
Three times.
Feel its power,
Feel its truth resonating within you.
Trust in its wisdom and allow it to guide you on your journey.
Now,
Slowly,
Begin to bring your awareness back to your physical body.
Feel your body touching the earth.
Wiggle your fingers and toes,
Gently awakening from this state of deep relaxation.
When you feel ready,
Let yourself drift off to sleep,
Or if you're moving into the rest of your day,
Slowly open your eyes and take your time to reorientate yourself to your surroundings.
Notice how you feel refreshed,
Renewed,
And deeply relaxed.
As you drift to sleep or go about your day or evening,
Carry this sense of tranquility and peace with you.
You can return to this place any time you need it.
You can reconnect with your inner calm and find restful sleep through this practice.
Thank you for joining me in this full-body yoga nidra for relaxation and renewal.
May your sleep be deep,
Your dreams be peaceful,
And your waking hours be filled with joy and vitality.
As you continue on your path of well-being,
Remember to honor yourself with moments of rest and rejuvenation.
You deserve the gift of deep relaxation and renewal.
The light in me honors the light in you.
Namaste.
