Welcome,

And thank you for joining me in this beautiful morning,

Afternoon or night.

My name is Gus,

And I would like you to take this time for yourself,

Finding a very comfortable position,

Anywhere that you are not going to be disturbed.

Take the time to make all of the adjustments that you need,

In order to feel fully at ease,

In your own environment.

As you settle into a comfortable position,

I ask you to take a nice deep breath in,

And as you breathe out,

You are fully aware,

You set your intentions to be fully aware of your whole body,

Against your bed,

Against the chair,

Whichever surface you feel the most comfortable.

Notice how heavy your body is,

As you take another deep breath in,

You also focus on the movements that your body makes,

As you breathe in and out,

In and out.

Explain yourself deeply for taking this time,

Which is so needed,

To look after your mind,

To look after your soul,

And your physical body as well.

As you let go of the day,

As you let go of the tensions,

And you focus on your breathing,

On the music,

And on my voice,

You merge beautifully with the beauty of the present moment.

As you finally settle,

Breathe in and out,

I invite you to think of yourself,

Or how you were,

A few years ago,

The challenges you were going through,

The strength that you needed to go through those challenges,

Your thoughts and your behaviours.

Think about those for a moment,

With kindness,

With compassion and admiration.

Now as you breathe,

And you let go of all and any tension,

Throughout your body,

You can think of yourself,

Or how you were,

A few years ago,

The challenges you were going through,

A few years ago,

What was your state of mind back then,

What were your goals,

What were all your fears,

What did you fear the most,

Is this fear still relevant,

Did you overcome it,

Did you even forget about it?

Look at your achievements of that time,

With compassion,

With understanding,

And admiration,

Where at last you are.

Right now you are feeling happy.

So move in out of this sphere.

As you realise the different selves that you have performed during all these years and you compare them.

I would also invite you to think about what parts of those selves are still very much you nowadays.

And what elements of those selves are no longer you at all.

As you breathe in fully and completely you set your intentions to integrate,

Love and accept all of those previous selves that you have performed,

All of those previous selves that you have been.

You are a plural,

Adaptive,

Beautiful being.

I would like you to offer compassion,

Understanding and admiration towards all of the changes that you have been through,

All of the challenges that you have overcome,

All of the lessons that upon learning you have evolved and slowly but steadily became the today you.

I would like you to breathe in fully and appreciate,

Accept and admire the complexity of your identity,

The beauty of your transformations,

The ascension,

The ability that today you have to understand,

To behave and think more clearly,

More kindly.

And instead of trying to make all of those different selves to merge,

Allow them to just leave in harmony with each other,

For you need all of those beautiful versions of yourself to achieve plenitude.

The beauty of your personality is that it's not homogeneous,

It is fragmented,

Complex,

It is dynamic.

As you breathe in and accept every single expression of you,

You thank your previous experiences,

Setbacks and lessons for they have formed today you.

No element of you is to be ostracised,

No element of you is to be denied,

Deleted or forgotten.

Like a big parent of your own self,

Embrace your differences within you,

Embrace the parts of you that you don't necessarily enjoy much or approve of much,

They are still you.

Take a nice deep breath in and be proud of your own beauty,

Be proud of your own mistakes,

Be proud of the parts of yourself that perhaps cause you pain,

For those other parts of yourself they also teach you the most.

Breathe in and fully into the present moment of your complex self and rest,

Rest into the certainty that they are beautiful just the way that they are and accept the feeling of peace that comes along with it.

Breathe in deeply and fully and accept the opposing aspects of yourself.

For the whole world is made of opposites and so are you,

They don't have to fight,

They don't have to be repressed,

In a world of opposites they balance and nurture each other in a symbiotic fashion and you breathe in and accept with compassion,

With pride,

With understanding.

As you enjoy this moment,

As you bask in the happiness of being who you are,

As you breathe in the certainty that you are just beautiful,

I invite you to continue with this meditation,

Enjoying this moment of absolute peace,

Reviewing,

Re-understanding,

Rearranging your different selves into harmonious clusters.

I ask you to take a nice deep breath in.

And as you breathe out,

Let go of any self-doubt,

Any self-punishment and replace all that with a nice deep breath in of love,

Acceptance and diversity of your own being.

You might continue this meditation,

You might continue this peaceful moment of self-discovery or you can slowly wiggle your fingers and your toes and slowly return to your fully awakened state.

I thank you deeply for sitting this meditation with me.

My name is Gus and I hope you have an amazing day or night.

So be it.

I'll see you next time.
