Now bring your awareness to the base of your spine and the soles of your feet.
Imagine roots gently growing down into the earth beneath you.
With each breath,
These roots spread deeper,
Stronger.
Feel the stability,
The quiet support of the earth holding you.
You are safe here.
You are grounded.
As you rest in this grounding,
Bring your awareness to your upper body,
Your trunk,
Your branches.
With every exhale,
Imagine your leaves,
Your thoughts,
Your habits,
Your desires,
Anything you're ready to release gently detaching.
Watch them drift away in the crisp autumn air.
No rush,
Just release with grace.
Take a few breaths here.
Inhaling steadiness and exhaling release.
Now place your hands over your heart.
Feel the warmth of your palms and the gentle rhythm beneath them.
Silently or aloud,
Repeat after me.
I am rooted in what matters.
I release the rest with grace.
Take a final deep breath in.
And a long,
Gentle breath out.
