Transcript

Welcome to this guided meditation for overwhelm.

Find a comfortable seated position and allow your eyes to gently close.

Take a deep breath in through your nose,

Hold it for a few seconds and then slowly exhale through your mouth.

Repeat this a few times until you feel centered.

Focus on your breath.

Notice how it moves in and out of your body.

As you inhale,

Imagine that you are breathing in calm and relaxation.

And as you exhale,

Imagine that you are releasing any tension or stress that you may be feeling.

Visualize yourself in a spacious and open area.

Imagine that you are surrounded by a wide expanse of sky,

Earth and water.

Allow yourself to feel the vastness of this space.

As we enter into this new season,

Remind yourself that just like the weather changes,

So too do our emotional states.

We can cultivate spaciousness and ease in our lives by creating boundaries and prioritizing our well-being.

Repeat the following affirmation to yourself.

I am grounded and centered.

I trust in my ability to navigate the challenges of life.

I honor my need for rest and rejuvenation.

Take a few more deep breaths before gently opening your eyes.

Know that you can come back to this peaceful state of mind whenever you need it.
