Hello and welcome to True North Guided Meditations.
My name is Frank Kohicke and this meditation is a 10 minute one designed to help you sleep.
Now what I want you to do is take a big deep breath in and out,
Letting everything go,
Letting the day just wash away.
Breathe in again and out.
Continue to breathe like this,
Accepting the new,
The fresh air and then releasing the old,
The past,
The day that's been.
And with your exhale,
Letting go of all the things that have happened in the day,
Any worries,
Stresses,
Anything at all,
Come back to your neutral state.
Breathing now with your own unique natural breath,
Clearing your mind,
Letting any thought go.
Now is your time,
Yours and only yours,
To relax,
Be at peace,
Enjoy some serenity.
Breathe nice and softly through your nose and now through your mouth.
Letting your mind go blank until all you see is dark and light,
Yin and yang,
The perfect balance of unconsciousness in consciousness.
Allow yourself to drift deeper,
Deeper into your meditation to sleep.
Switching off our body,
Our vessel that has carried us through the day,
Letting it rest.
Each part at a time,
Your nose,
Feet,
Relax,
Your shins,
Thighs,
Middle,
Relax your tummy,
Your chest,
Shoulders and arms,
Fingertips,
Neck,
Jaw,
Relax your cheeks and eyes until you are light.
Flowing,
Floating,
Being carried.
I'd like you to draw your attention to your third eye at a nice slow pace,
Just notice the glow,
The glow trying to penetrate your forehead,
Light trying to get in.
But now we can just let our third eye lid do its job and just stay nicely shut,
Keeping the blinds down,
Allowing us to rest and be at ease.
Gently,
Gently breathe.
If you drift away to any thought,
To any place,
That's okay.
Let yourself go.
You deserve this time of rest.
Don't resist.
Be carried by the universe.
Allow yourself to be nurtured by your surroundings and let yourself dream.
