Not all grief has a funeral. Some losses arrive in silence and stay longer than expected. This poem is about carrying unseen burdens and finding a place, whether in nature or solitude, wide enough to hold them. I found nature to be the best place for me to help me deal with grief. I spend a lot of time in the wilderness, and I share in this audio how it makes me feel.
